NEW 5 STAR REVIEW (FRUITY PEBBLES FLAVOR): Despite my original experience with ISO 100, I saw the Fruity Pebbles flavor and the actual endorsement from Post, and just had to try it. A lot of folks think taste shouldn’t matter when it comes to protein powders (I once did too), but now that there ARE actually quality proteins that are also good-tasting (like this one!), there’s no reason to settle for one you have to choke down... This one is an actual treat! It took a couple tries to get the ingredients and ratio down, but when I did, I was shocked at how reminiscent of the cereal it actually is. I first tried it with Silk cashew/almond/pea protein “milk,” and that was ok but not much to talk about. But when I tried it with water, WOW! It may be partially because I’ve always preferred skim milk, but the flavor was a total blast from the past. I took it a step further by adding a splash of my go-to sweetener (Torani Pure sugar free vanilla syrup) and now it’s hard to stop at one serving!! I’ll definitely be giving other flavors a try now. So glad I gave this a second chance!! Apart from flavor and a strong nutritional profile, there’s no weird aftertaste and no stomach upset. Truly a wonderful supplement. ORIGINAL 3 STAR REVIEW (CAKE FLAVOR): I tried the bday cake flavor of this and it is absolutely terrible tasting! But, that being said, I don’t buy supplements expecting them to taste like a dessert—I know they are likely to be rough, but this flavor was REALLY rough to drink on it’s own; HOWEVER, when mixed with liquid chai tea mix (the kind you get prepare in a carton at the grocery store), it actually tastes pretty good. The issue there is that you have to add a very sugary substance to the product to make it tolerable. Despite the taste, the ingredients are quality and the protein/fat ratio is really good (thus the 3 stars) so there’s no doubt it’s a strong supplement, but if you dread drinking it, that can only take you so far.

Flavors that I’ve tried: Fruity Pebbles - Amazing. Tastes exactly like Fruity Pebbles, about 98% accurate, especially with Oatmilk/Almond Milk. 4.7 out of 5 stars because I get tired of drinking this flavor very fast for some reason. Still good with water. Gourmet Chocolate - Very delicious, reminds me more of Hot Chocolate instead of Chocolate Milk. Never got tired of this. It’s really great with Water even better with Oatmilk/Almond Milk. This is my 2nd favorite after Choc Peanut Butter. 5 out of 5 stars Chocolate Peanut Butter - This flavor is so damn great and has become my favorite. It reminds me of the Girl Scout Cookies “Peanut Butter Patties.” So tasty. Never get tired of it. It’s a nice balance leaning more towards Peanut Butter flavor. Probably 60/40 ratio. 5 out of 5 stars Cocoa Pebbles - This is my least favorite and was very disappointing. Doesn’t taste anything like Cocoa pebbles. Doesn’t really taste like it has its own identity. It kind of just has a bland chocolate flavor but it’s not nasty. I’d give this a 2.5 out of 5 stars. Don’t recommend it. Fudge Brownie - Doesn’t taste anything like a Fudge Brownie. Also tastes a little too sweet. Throat feels dry after drinking it. This is probably the worst one I’ve had. 1.5 out of 5 stars.

Taste just like Fruity Pebbles...this has been my go-to protein powder for a few years now. Very nice to swap it with my chocolate flavor. Also, delicious when you mix it with milk and pour it over cereal. It is very overpriced, but you have to watch it for a while and a deal will pop up. I ordered one last night at $79 with a random 20% off coupon, saving me $16 for a total of $63. If youre not in a rush, stalk the price.

Dymatize ISO100 has hands down become my go-to protein powder. I have now tried 9 flavors, they are (in no particular order): - Chocolate Caramel - Chocolate Peanut Butter - Cinnamon Bun - Cocoa Pebbles - Cookie and Cream - Fudge Brownie - Gourmet Chocolate - Gourmet Vanilla - Strawberry There are really four main factors that matter to me in a protein powder; How well does it mix, Whats actually in it, how much does it cost, and the most important factor of all, taste. 1) How well does it mix: It mixes great, zero complaints on this front. It borderline mixes too well. I typically have my protein in one of two ways; a shaker bottle with a metal shaker, mixed with water or milk, or a protein shake/smoothie mixed in a ninja blender. In both situations, I have zero issues with the mix. Never comes out clumpy or lumpy. Some of the flavors mix so well they come out very foamy (more so than other powders) and I actually have to wait a bit so Im not just drinking bubbles. 2) Whats in it?: I am not a supplement expert, but Dymatizes ISO100 has significantly less cholesterol than a lot of competitors, and thats good enough for me. This factor matters the least to me, I dont look too much into ingredient labels, but heart disease does run in my family, so avoiding unnecessary cholesterol, which is common in a lot of powders, is a big plus. 3) Cost: I think the price is exceptional for the product. Sometimes there will be great deals here on Amazon for specific flavors. I will get to it in the next section, but even though I do not think Dymatize has the hands-down best flavors, for the cost I couldnt be happier. 4) Taste: THE BIG ONE!!! Gourmet Chocolate is without question my absolute favorite chocolate flavored protein powder. Totally subjective obviously, but I dont think anything else even really comes close, and Ive tried a pretty extensive selection of chocolates. For a reference point that a lot of people can relate to, I do not like Optimum Nutritions chocolate at all, I think its pretty disgusting. I am giving an overall rating of 4 stars because aside from gourmet chocolate and cookies and cream, I do not think any of the other flavors Ive tried are out of this world. Look above for the list of all the chocolate variants Ive had. I wont bother buying any of them again, because the gourmet chocolate is just plain better than all of the others. The flavor difference is minimal enough that I dont care for them to add variety, but big enough that I see no reason to waiver from the king. Chocoloate Peanut Butter is an outlier on the chocolates, Its really good too, BUT when I want a chocolate peanut butter flavor, I think it tastes way better to just use gourmet chocolate, and then add a tablespoon or two of peanut butter powder, like PB Fit. Its a small amount more calories for a lot more protein and a much less artificial flavor. Cookies and Cream is my second favorite. Its also super delicious. Now that Ive experimented with most of the flavors, I will probably just be buying cookies and cream and gourmet chocolate, so that I dont get bored of one. Gourmet vanilla and cinnamon bun are fine. If you really like those flavors I have no complaints. Strawberry I could not get to taste good in a smoothie. Just wouldnt sit right with me. Mixed with just almond milk its pretty yummy though. I got pretty tired of this flavor pretty fast and will likely not buy it again. Im generally not crazy about fruit flavored protein powders though. So, I didnt give 5 stars because not every flavor is my favorite. What is you might ask? I really love Ghost Protein. I think they have the best flavors if you want 3 or more choices. Their coffee flavor is my favorite protein of all time. BUT, Ghost is a lot more expensive. The ISO100 makes me a lot happier when I remember Im spending quite a bit less per scoop (I usually buy the 3 lb tubs of ISO100, which is obviously cheaper per oz). It just comes down to price to performance, and right now ISO100 wins it for me. I still buy Ghost from time to time because I like it so much. Just for funsies here is my fairly generic protein smoothie I have almost every morning for my breakfast. 1 scoop of either Gourmet Chocolate -or- Cookies and Cream ISO100. 3/4 cup milk 2 tablespoons peanut butter powder (I like PB Fit) 1 whole frozen banana 1/4-1/2 cup frozen black coffee ice cubes (you can of course just use regular ice cubes) About 35-40g of protein for a 350-400 calorie smoothie that tastes BANGIN. If you try it out, blend the milk, PB powder, and protein together first. Then add the coffee ice cubes and blend for 30 seconds to a minute. Then add the banana and blend to desired thickness, another 30 seconds - 1 minute. If you try to do it all at once, there are too many cold ingredients and the protein and PB powder wont blend as well as it normally would otherwise. OBLIGATORY FINAL SENTENCE IN ALL CAPS ABOUT GETTING THEM GAINZZZ.

Love the Fruity Pebbles flavor...not the price. The Fruity Pebbles flavor is the best Ive tasted out of the many different brands and flavors of protein powders that Ive tried. I mix it with 8 to 10 ounces of skim milk. I used to mix my protein powders with water until I tried it with milk. Milk just makes all the flavors taste 10 times better. Ive tried it with skim (0%) milk, 1% milk and 2% milk and couldnt detect any big differences. Since milk fat is not good for older adults, I stick to skim milk while my kids drink 1% or 2% milk. Milk also adds 1 gram of protein for each ounce you drink. So 8 ounces of milk mixed with 2/3 scoop of protein powder still gives you about the same amount of protein as 8 ounces of water mixed with a full scoop of protein powder. Its just one way to make your protein powered last longer and save some money. The only problem I have with Amazon and Dymatize ISO100 protein powder is the wildly fluctuating prices. It could be $75 one day and $99 the next. On a side note, if you find this powder too fruity you can always mix it with a vanilla flavored protein powder to reduce the sweetness to your liking.

First off, the “whey” taste. If you have ever tried a whey product for the first time. You know exactly what the “whey” taste is. It took idk maybe a week or less for the whey taste to go away. Once you take it after a few days you won’t taste it and you’ll taste this delicious powder. Literally like drinking fruity pebbles. It’s crazy accurate and crazy delicious. I use it after the workouts and it’s like having a bowl of cereal. It’s so good. I do think they could add a WHOOOOOOLE lot more powder for the massive jug they give you. But it still seeming to last forever. Like an unwanted be needed late night hookup. I would recommend this to your grandma, your cousin, your boss at work, that girl Sarah nobody likes but we don’t say anything, and even you. Hell, I’ll recommend this to my cat, but he died. He tried benching 435. Whiskers couldn’t hang. He would’ve had he been drinking this stuff. So what are you waiting for. Buy it like right now! I’m serious!

The store bought version was definitely more powdery. I think the powdery version mixed better. This seemed like it had a bit more humidity in the packaging
