> 3 dayGreat protein powder, but youll need a shaker to break up the powder. I have used hydrolyzed whey protein powder before that melted away in any liquid and didnt require a shaker, but this is not one of those powders. But it tastes great mixed with water, milk, almondmilk, cashew milk, and even in coffee (mocha anyone?). It is a very sweet chocolate flavor. If youre not crazy about super sweet, skip this one. If you have a sweet tooth and love the taste of ooey-gooey fudge brownies right out of the oven, this one is for you. I personally think its a great chocolate flavor. And I like that it has a nice, substantial consistency without being too gelatinous. The last protein powder I used had no thickeners whatsoever, and if you mixed it with water, you got flavored water. This mixed with water still has a nice shake-like consistency that you would hope for and expect. Not too thick, not too thin. As for muscle building and performance, I wish I could be more scientific and say that I had a controlled study that included keeping my fitness routine the same when I switched from the other brand to the Dymatize ISO-100. But I dont. I have been using hydrolyzed whey protein powder for two months now and just started using the Dymatize for this past month. I have definitely noticed a difference in gains in lean muscle mass, muscle recovery, and fast-twitch muscle improvement. I cant say definitively or not as to whether that came from changing my fitness routine (I started P90X3 3 weeks ago), adding the protein powder, which protein powder it was (if either) that affected my gains, or if I would have made the same gains without the protein powder. There are too many variables to say that this particular hydrolyzed whey protein vs the other brand was what made the difference all said and done. However, I have noticed a clear benefit in energy, muscle recovery speed, and muscle gains since adding hydrolyzed whey protein powder two months ago, so Ive chosen to stick with it. I really like the Dymatize ISO-100 in comparison with the other 3 brands Ive sampled (one of which I used for a whole month prior to trying the ISO-100). Im a big fan and just bought pina coloada flavor, too. I highly recommend this product. Just make sure to have that shaker.

> 3 dayCompared to the gourmet chocolate, it’s kind of bland; it’s still iso100 great product regardless. So if you’re looking to save a few bucks, get the Coco pebbles. But if you’re looking for a good tasting chocolate, get the gourmet.

Greater than one weekThe store bought version was definitely more powdery. I think the powdery version mixed better. This seemed like it had a bit more humidity in the packaging

> 3 dayFirst, let’s talk about the positives.. 120 calories for 25g protein is among the best out there. I tried the Cocoa Pebbles flavor, and it’s absolutely spot on. The scoop included works great, and I’ve had minimal spillage (and haven’t lost the scoop in the powder.). Also no issues with sealing the top of the container, and no problems with the powder going bad or odors. The negatives, on the other hand, may appear pretty obvious. From a price point, this is definitely not the cheapest powder on the market. Again, you’re paying a premium for the branded flavor. Speaking of the flavor, make sure you *absolutely* love it. To be honest, after a few shakes, the cocoa pebbles got to be a bit “much”/almost too sweet. I’m going to finish the powder completely, but not sure if I’ll try another based on this experience. Also note, the product contains soy lethicin in case that’s an issue for you. Overall, not a bad experience with the product, but I don’t think I’ll purchase it again.

> 3 dayI got the fruity pebbles flavor and it tastes so good. It has great macros as well considering how every other protein powder has so much more cholesterol than this. Combining such great taste with such good macros is incredible.

> 3 day!!2nd Updated!! Great taste, great quality, goes down smooth… after the FOAM settles. If you’re gonna drink this straight from mix expect a ton of foam. Even with water this stuff has a foam cap about an inch thick with every mix. I started mixing it and putting it in the fridge. Other than that minor inconvenience it’s gonna take a lot to get me to switch again. Update: results are still amazing! I’ve tried the cocoa pebbles and vanilla as of now. The cocoa pebbles is okay it’s not much different than any other chocolate protein as far as taste goes it is amazing with a little added PB. The vanilla is by far the worst tasting of the three. I was happy to get through the vanilla so I could switch to anything else. The vanilla’s foam was insane too! 2: the foam from the fruity pebbles has become unbearable! It had made my protein consumption time go from moments to around 15 min waiting for this foam to settle if it ever does. On top of that the bubbles have been cause awful GI bloating and discomfort. I’ll be searching for a new brand until you can get that foam under control.
