> 3 dayThis part is exactly what I needed. My ball on the non filter side fell off. The plastic yoke broke. You will need a torque size t-10. I ordered a set when I ordered this part. There are a minimum of 15 tiny star screws to remove. Watch YouTube for a good how to video. It’s a little involved but it was easy.

> 3 dayRepairing a Dyson isn’t that hard to do with a few exceptions. Half of the ball fell off one day and I could see it was broken. I was going to trash it and thought “ no way…it’s a Dyson!” I looked up what was broken and how to replace it and ordered parts. The vacuum was down less than 24 hours LOL

> 3 dayThe plastic near the screw on the side opposite filters broke one day while I was vacuuming the ball just fell apart! Our machine is over 5 years old thought I had to buy a new vacuum and started shopping for cheaper alternatives to the Dyson. My husband thought he could fix this if he had to part we did a little research. Bought this part, a $10 torx screwdriver set, and watched a You Tube video and voila saved ourselves hundreds of dollars! Highly recommend for anyone in this situation not too difficult to do if you are even a little mechanically inclined, took my husband about 45 minutes he watched the video and would pause it every few minutes to do the tasks in steps.

> 3 dayLooks and appears exactly as original. Fit well. No instructions, so you should google it since the plastic can be damaged pretty easily. Came in Dyson packaging.
