07-06-2025Evidently there are issues with this piece being poorly designed as there are youtube videos showing how to remove and replace it. Nice to be able to get this replacement part though and fix it myself or the vacuum would just be an expensive pile of junk now.

> 3 dayThe part worked perfectly, but was tricky to install. No instructions came with the part, but a google search found a couple of helpful videos from random Dyson customers who had to install the part.

> 3 dayOur vacuum cleaner works as good as new. It did take patience to get the part replaced, but it was worth it.

> 3 dayWorked great on repairing our Dyson DC41 vacuum, just be patient and remember how all the parts go back together...esp the white gear for upright position holder.

> 3 dayThe part is fine, it took me several tries to get the white gear clocked in the correct position. If you dont have good mechanical skills you may not want to take this replacement job on. Once the job was complete the vacuum worked quite well.

> 3 dayGot this cheaper here on Amazon than anywhere else I checked. These are a little difficult to install but there is a video on the net to assist. You will need some small torx screw drivers or extended bits to install this item.

> 3 dayThis part saved me from buying a new vaccum. Its not the easiest thing to replace, but since I enjoy tinkering with things it was fairly easy for. That said, with some time and patience any one can do it. My vacuum feels new again, things feels stiff as if was new out of the box. Not much to say beyond that, money well spent.

> 3 dayThe dyson company wanted to sell us a new vacuum when this was the part we needed they dont sell this part on their own website and it runs fine just the bearing in the yoke went bad thank you for getting this out there so that we had a vacuum again!!!
