Repairing a Dyson isn’t that hard to do with a few exceptions. Half of the ball fell off one day and I could see it was broken. I was going to trash it and thought “ no way…it’s a Dyson!” I looked up what was broken and how to replace it and ordered parts. The vacuum was down less than 24 hours LOL

This part saved me from buying a new vaccum. Its not the easiest thing to replace, but since I enjoy tinkering with things it was fairly easy for. That said, with some time and patience any one can do it. My vacuum feels new again, things feels stiff as if was new out of the box. Not much to say beyond that, money well spent.

Evidently there are issues with this piece being poorly designed as there are youtube videos showing how to remove and replace it. Nice to be able to get this replacement part though and fix it myself or the vacuum would just be an expensive pile of junk now.
