I got this for a 3- hour airline trip. This product had great reviews because it stands upright and it looks nice, which are both true. I cannot put my cat in here, though, because t has a very strong unpleasant odor, like awful chemicals. Animals have a very sensitive sense of smell, and this will make a dog or cat absolutely miserable! Imagine being forced to sit in an enclosed room for hours that has a strong, pungent odor attacking your sinuses and giving you a major headache. Please don’t do this to your cat or dog! I’m returning it because I’m flying out tomorrow. Maybe over time, weeks, months, with several washing’s it could reduce the smell, but who knows how long it would take to make it tolerable. I just wouldn’t. I’m giving this one star because this company should be more kind to animals if they’re going to make money selling pet products.

I had to bring our cat back from LA and I bought this carrier because 1) it’s collapsible and I live in a small apartment and 2) it seems sturdy and easy to clean. I also had a larger kennel for my cat to travel in. Well, half way through my he trip he managed to get out of the kennel and jumped under my legs while I was on the 101 hwy. I safely pulled off and pulled this carrier out and put him in it for the rest of the ride. It only did he not escape (it’s secure enough and one reason I bought it based on reviews) but we were able to get home safely. This has been my go to for taking him to the vet or short distance travel and he’s fine. He’s a large cat (about 15+ pounds) and a two escape artist and this was able to handle both.

I would give this one star except it is lightweight and the bottom is well padded. But it does NOT hold its shape! Doesn’t seem like there really is a metal frame at all

Good size for cats. Sturdy construction. Thick solid bottom. Comfy materials used. Pockets for treats. Stows under airline seats nicely. My kitty loved the 3 hr flight.

I have the toughest time getting my cats into a conventional cat carrier. They just dont want to go and can stick out their paws enough to block the way in. This carrier is different though because you can load from the front AND you can load from the top. The top opening is larger and perfect for lowering the cat in. Before the cat knows it, its time to go.

This is perfect. I like the various openings, both at the top, sides, front and back. Makes it very convenient! Well made and sturdy. Good price.
