I found that this carrier is the right size for both my cat boys.

My cat fit well. She’s 12 pounds and it’s great because she’s an escape artist. The zippers help with that.

Weve had cats for years and always used old fashioned rigid plastic carriers that came in 2 parts & were held together with screws. Worked fine for our previous complacent cats, but we recently adopted 2 new cats who HATE HATE HATE the old fashioned carriers, and are nearly impossible to load head-first (or even lower-body-first with the old carrier turned on its end & the open door facing up). Needless to say, by the time we won the battle getting the new cats into the old carriers, they were stressed, we were stressed, and the trip to the vet was made that much worse. We figured that there had to be a better way, so we started researched and ended up choosing these carriers based on the reviews. We now know that we made a GREAT choice, as the cats love them (we keep them on the floor and the cats use them as cozy lounging spots), and our vet loves them too - because of the openings on the top, side, and front, she can now perform most of what she needs to do while kitty remains securely inside his cozy hang-out. Less stress all around - happier kitties, happier humans!

This is amazing! My cat fits perfectly and comfortably in this. It’s so easy to carry as well. It has the strap that you can use to throw it over your shoulder. It’s very well ventilated. I have normal sized cats and they did so good in it. I do also have a rather large cat who is almost 20 pounds and I don’t think she would be that comfortable in it so I’m getting a larger one for her. It’s a great carrier for average sized cats.
