EATON Wiring RF9501DS Aspire Z-Wave Wireless Single Pole Switch, Desert Sand

The item I received is not as described. The Eaton RF9501DS Aspire Z-Wave Wireless Single Pole Switch, Desert Sand is not RF nor is it Z-Wave capable. This was tested by wiring the switch to a light and trying to connect to a Smartthings hub. After checking with other Eaton products the Z-Wave switch costs about $50.00. So just a heads up. Maybe some of you received something different than I did. Good luck.

The desert sand color is Z-wave device. works with Smartthings perfectly.

I ordered this product two times, one time it was the z-wave, the next time it was a standard single pole switch. Also the light broke on me and is not functioning at all (z-wave). Its past the refund period but it appears that they are not good functioning lights, I would like to just have the product ordered as listed in the description. They sent the wrong product im returning.

One broke on install, the other feels cheap everyday. I want to replace already. My$1 switches felt better but looked worse

These are great switches - I have used 1-2 dozen in more than one house and never had a failure yet. Great value for the price.

As far as installation and aesthetics is concerned these are great. I’m a lot less enthusiastic about their quality, they’re manufactured with a pretty high content of polystyrene and put together slightly looser than the norm, so they give off that brittle click clack sound when flipped which I’m less enthusiastic about, but can live with.

Clean look, installs just like a regular light switch. Less sound and feel when switching. Hope it will last a while..
