> 3 dayFun fact. Steel and aluminum dont like eachother and oxidize when put together for a long period of time. I bought these a few months ago and thought what the rest of you did. Wowlw! These look awesome. Last month my tire light came on and I tried to take the cap off and NOTHING. All 4 were oxidized to the steel valve cover on my 2018 Subaru Forester. Im currently sitting at my mechanic while they grind them off or worst case, I have to replace the valves. I wish I could give negative stars. This is bull. Valve covers shouldnt be made in this material.

> 3 dayCaps oxidized on my valve stems and was unable to remove them.. costly valve stem replacement on air sensors. Use some sort of lubricant or remove them to keep them loose, went back to stock plastic.

> 3 dayKeep in mind how light a material aluminum is. Based on other reviews these caps are made of aluminum. I thought for sure they were plastic. I checked to see if there was an oversight on my part, that perhaps I didnt ensure the material they were made of before purchasing them, but sure enough, the description says, made of aluminum. Aluminum. Okay. WHAT was I thinking. Maybe a sturdier gauge of aluminum??? They looked fine in the picture. Just like the ones I was going to replace. I really only needed one. I am using just one, period. These are alright. But I expected a heavier gauge aluminum. If you want to upgrade the appearance of your wheels, these are an inexpensive alternate to stock plastic caps that come with tires and valve stems. I dont remember paying a lot for the ones these were to replace and these looked just fine in the picture; an almost identical match as such. If these are the same ones I bought over seven years ago, they last a long time provided you or some service station doesn’t lose one two or any of them while, say rotating or replacing a wheel. Its a bit deceiving and looks to me to be different from the item you get at your door when its delivered to you but they aren’t all that bad. They’re very light and now that I think of it, the one I screwed onto the valve stem felt like it might not have been machined all that well. So you might experience a minor manufacturing flaw At this price it “should” be okay though. Just ensure to hand screw them securely into place. Be advised that if you are unhappy with these, my experience was that they could not be mailed back. You have to take them back to a store or drop off point. For me? Too much trouble and more wasted time. Am I unhappy? There was a lot of uncertainty on my part and I was in a bad, bad, bad mood before writing the original review I posted for this item. I’m over it.

> 3 dayThey work great as valve caps, but as you can see in the picture after a year they have lost all the color. So 8 caps gets you two years of color.

> 3 dayThey are exactly as pictured, you get 8 in a pack, but I noticed they do not screw all the way down onto my valve stems.. so time will time if the work out or not.. But, they really are pretty !

> 3 daythese are the perfect color for the color of the car i have. used a q tip to oil the inside threads of the caps before putting them on so they wouldnt freeze lock onto the stem.

> 3 dayfine till they were not...but some preventative maintenance could have helped perhaps ? just make sure you either dont tighten all of the way in winter, or put wd-40 or whatever is supposed to be used on the valve stem before in the winter they were hard to get off in winter... as I tried to turn one of them, it cracked my valve stem... of course, could have been a defective valve stem... anyways, going back to plastic for now but if you are in a warm climate / can remember to maintain, go for them !
