Great product to protect your Apple TV remote from thieves scratches and accidental drops. In addition, the joypad looking skin is aesthetically pleasing while being functional.

I bought this to replace my previous case. Id say this one is abit more durable. If you see reviews complaining about covering some of the touch pad on the remote thats normal. All covers are like that as was my previous. Its hard not to cover it because its edge to edge. I love the design and was the only reason I went with this and I am very happy with it. The ONLY thing I can say negative about it is dont get the glow in the dark. I shouldve known better. No glow in the dark items ever work out as intended. They dont hold onto the light. Definitely go with the original, which is what I shouldve done. I liked how the original looks, and is very visible. Since the glow in the dark is see-through, the d pad and buttons arent as popping as they would be had it been opaque.

This cover looks really good but thats where the good points end. This stops the trackpad on the remote from working correctly. It stops it from clicking properly for selecting/skipping forward/skipping backwards. It actually pushes down on the trackpad so youre watching something and suddenly your program/moive starts to pause of skip forward or backwards.

I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and color accuracy of the photos provided by elago. I originally purchased this after seeing it publicized in The Verge, but I was fully prepared to be let down. Thankfully I was not. Obviously there is no functionality of the buttons on the rear, but this serves as a nice piece of nostalgia for anyone growing up in the 90s. There are cutouts for all the important antennas inside of the remote such as the IR blaster to prevent range issues, and so far I’ve had no problems at all. Package also includes a wrist strap if you decide to use it.

Looks great and the lanyard is a nice touch. My only complaint is that it interferes with the top navigation button—I have to take the remote slightly out of its case in order to properly rewind or fast forward while viewing.
