Very easy to use, very responsive when I just tap the nightstand very lightly. Love that I dont have the constant glow of a regular clock by my bedside. I did fit it with a little magnifier to enlarge the display of the watch. Since I dont wear glasses while sleeping, I am struggling a bit to read the numbers.

I had received this as a gift, and it is ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE. It is a perfect fit for my 1st-Gen 38mm Apple Watch. One of the challenges I have found with various charging docks is that the docks are not well-weighted, so while putting your thing ON the dock is easy, taking it OFF of the dock is not... often times, the dock wants to come with the device that is docked! That is not the case with this little guy! The dock itself is weighted well enough that docking and undocking your watch can be accomplished easily with one hand. In case youre a little clumsy (like I am), its conveniently made of a heavy-duty vinyl-like plastic, so you dont have to be perfectly coordinated when docking or undocking your watch... an added benefit to this is less risk for breakage, and it just -feels- nicer. I ended up with the White, and it is the perfect soft whitish-grayish color that many computer/monitor enclosures were made of in the early 90s. This is a perfect, useful gift that wont break the bank.

Overall, a fun/clever product, with a few caveats... Pros: * Quality materials * Good value (purchased from Amazon for $11) * Cute/clever/whimsical design Cons: * Apple watch fits a little too loose in the stand which causes a significant air gap between the front of the stand and the watch display, especially when viewed at an angle. * Occasionally loses charging connection to the back of the watch because of the same lose tolerances. * Charging puck sits a little too far inside the stand, contributing to the loose connection. It should be noted that Im using the stand with a 42mm Stainless Steel Apple watch series 1 with Stainless link bracelet/band, so the largest possible watch, and it still has a loose fit.

I bought this purely for the nostalgia, but love it for how useful it is! Sturdy materials, fits my 40mm Apple Series 5 watch very well. Charger used to fall to floor when I would remove my watch. Between my iPhone and iPad cables, the watch charger always got tangled. So now the charger is always on my nightstand, no more cord management issues. I also love the nightstand mode. I just have to touch the edge of the nightstand, and with just that slight movement the time shows. I no longer have to worry about knocking over my water glass when reaching for my watch to see what time it is.

It works just as it should.

This is cute, and lets face it, the reason youre buying this is because youre a computer geek with a fondness for old gear. I have a new Watch 5, and it fits just fine. You need to make sure to route the power cable through the little slit on the bottom to get it to sit flat, no big deal. While the magnet doesnt thunk as solidly as if you were laying the watch on it flat, it does engage strong enough to charge, and thats the important part. One complaint. The front isnt perfectly flat, the irregularity is an artifact of the molding process. Im not going to return it as the shipping back and forth is kind of silly for an $11~ item, but it is kind of annoying. I dont know if this is a common occurrence, I wish theyd chosen their pour point elsewhere to reduce the chance of this irregularity appearing on the front. One thing that I absolutely love and did not expect: this thing has some heft to it. I expected it to be extremely light, and while it is light, its not a heavy wind will knock it down. It has some mass to it. I was going to knock the review down to three stars for the irregularity, but the density of the product brings it back to four. I havent travelled with it yet due to the current circumstances and honestly dont know that I will, but I expect it would travel well. All in all, a cute little thing.

Its SO cute and easy to use. Elago is just incredible at designing things that are cute, functional, and made with great quality. The watch pops in and out with ease! I have a 40mm Series 4 Apple Watch and it fits well, with a small amount of gap in the borders you can only see at extreme angles. Mine had a small defect in the silicone (a small dark speck by the disk drive) but I dont mind it. As a bonus, Im more inclined to use this as my clock in the middle of the night... instead of looking at my phone and getting mentally woken up by all the notifications!

I was disappointed when I opened the box, this just looked like a plastic square. It was a Christmas gift for my husband and I thought I’d really goofed up. But when my husband showed me how well it worked, I was thrilled. You put your charger under the watch stand then place the watch in horizontally. It becomes a clock, but only shows the time when you jiggle it or your night stand. This way you don’t have the glowing clock face interrupting your sleep. Love this!!

Works well & cute. A good decision to buy it vs. other stands. Reliable enough. No obvious scratch so far on my watch. I like to use it. Can be fun because charging a watch can be a boring daily grind.

I rarely buy anything but made by Apple products for my devices, but this is truly an exceptional product for an Apple Watch. I have been looking for a longtime and checking out reviews for several different chargers after trying to keep my Apple Watch charged on the flip-floppy USB charging cable. If your into Apple/Mac computers...look no further....this charger works great with the Milanese stainless steel band. I got the white color (more like a light beige) that looks like the original Mac SE. Its awesome!! With the scratch-free silicone material I dont have to worry about any damage to it. I liked it so much I sent one as a gift to my sister who has the same watch ;). She loves it and travels with it, as its convenient to wrap USB cord around it & toss into the suitcase.
