Greater than one weekI like to watch YouTube videos of people building computers and came across this guy who put a mini lcd panel inside his computer to monitor temps and speeds. He recommended this panel (5 inch blue). So picked one up. The cables that came with it are short so I recommend that you grab a 3ft USB to micro usb cable a and a slim monoprice hdmi cable. I routed both to the back of the pc. Once the lcd came on, I configured the panel as a 2nd monitor. Now, the resolution is 800x600 but I was having a hard time getting templates to add to it, so I changed it to 800x480 on windows and downloaded a bunch of aida64 templates in that resolution. Although the resolution is lower, it actually looks better to me. See the picture. Took me about 30 mins to set everything up. Also, you will need the retail version of aida64 extreme, so I recommend you do a Google search for websites that sell the license alot cheaper that the actual aida64 site. As a bonus, people online dont like that because these panels are powered by USB, once the computer is off, some panels remain on with the message no signal detected but this one fixes that because it shuts off automatically once it does not detect a video signal. I am extremely pleased on how this came out. I would give it 10 stars if I could

> 3 dayThis is by far the best 5 touch screen for your Pi or other small device. It is plug an play, it doesnt suffer from the issues that other non capsative screens suffer from and has handy mounting points. It has great display quality and isnt much more expensive then the cheaper models. This ones a keeper

> 3 dayThis little screen is exactly what it says it is. I was able to plug it into my Ubuntu mini pc and everything (including touch) is working super. Note: Easy to miss them - there are display menu option buttons on the left-hand side.

Greater than one weekWird an Raspberry Pi Betrieben mit Octopi. Keine zusätzlichen Treiber oder Configs nötig - angesteckt und läuft. Touch funktioniert ebenfalls einwandfrei. Einzig das mitgelieferte HDMI Kabel ist sehr starr.

> 3 dayWas easy to set up and works well. You just need to get a 3rd party software if you want to make a sensor panel for your pc like I did. I use AIDA64. There’s tutorials on YouTube if this is what you want the screen for.

Greater than one weekMonitor is clear and easy to read. One complaint i have is that when there is no signal the monitor stays bright blue and i do not know how to fix this issue. Could just be me not figuring it out but when logged in to windows it really is a nice display! No regrets if you been looking for a small monitor this fits the bill.

> 3 dayI liked the display. On this size screen, it worked best for me with a lower resolution. It was easier to read. The screen with pictures was very good. The screen doesnt have a great viewing angle. This screen would be great for programming a Raspberry pi for a stand alone operation.

Greater than one weekPerfect for adding a small display to my pc case (Enthoo Evolv X) - Gets power from the USB port so does not require separate power supply or power input. I used a header to micro USB to power it straight from the motherboard. Works perfect.

Greater than one weekI purchased this to use as a system info display inside my pc. The included screws and standoffs made the job very easy -- I just hot glued the ends of the standoffs and plopped them onto the surface. The display quality is better than I expected. The colors are accurate and smooth. HOWEVER, I wish that the display automatically shut off when its not receiving a video signal. Because I have the USB power cord connected to an external USB-A port, even when the system is in sleep it receives phantom power through the USB and stays on as a NO SIGNAL message. Its not a very big deal, I just turned on ErP in the BIOS and thus could turn the display off by switching the system into hibernation, but I really wish they made it so that it could automatically turn off. Also, the included cables are VERY short. I do understand that it was made to use on a Raspberry Pi, but I wish they included longer cables or HDMI and USB extension cables. Luckily, I had a longer HDMI cord and a USB extension cable so it wasnt a catastrophe. Overall, I think its a really nice mini-screen for versatile use. Although it has a few flaws, I would recommend it to people who are doing DIY projects, or just want to set up a system info display like me.
