great for all around work not just for gaming or streaming. i would say go for the mini because this one had too many buttons. you can add folder which mean infinate buttons

I dont use the Elgato Stream Deck for streaming, as a programmer I love it! Ive setup hotkeys for Sublime Text, macros in the Command Line and even buttons to quickly reply to emails and text messages.

UPDATE - January 24th 2020, Giving this 3 stars after the differnt models came out and also bewarw of having the screens on all the time. Turn it to have a sleep mode, trust me. It has screen burn in. This means the pixels show what was there before. Overall still stand behind it. Elgato really out done there selves with this one! I know someone would say just buy a keypad or blah blah. Ok cool. But for those who wanna have a full custom backlit,always updated, full experience! Then this is your buy. Anyone who is looking too up there content creation, ether it be twitch,YouTube and even video editing in Photoshop, this little tool can help you in so may ways! But not all is perfect, lets face it nothing is, but its a small little gripe of mine and its the stand, that little thing is a little flimsy for my liking but does work and isnt super thin. So go look up peoples reviews on videos and I bet this is your next buy and so worth it!

La mejor compra que pudes hacer, me encanta que puedes organizar carpetas dentro de cada botón, es muy sencillo de utilizar, puedes realizar acciones desde abrir el navegador, programas, meter audios, juegos, acciones en el chat, hacer clips en twitch una infinidad de cosas ya que en ocasiones estás jugando o haciendo stream y es genial solo pulsar un botón para abrir lo que necesites ya sea el Discord o una página web etc.

Back in 2020, Apple announced moving on from Intel to their new Apple Silicon chip—M1. Almost two years later, Elgatos Stream Deck software is still missing support for Apples M1, while Apple has been releasing newer devices. Yes, this will still work under Rosetta, except its clunky and slow.

I use this more for macros than streaming (even though I do stream occasionally). After seeing some people use this as a macro keyboard I decided to pick one up and have to say It works great. At the press of a button, I can open my preferred drawing app, launch Spotify, switch the profile from default to one that is more suited to my drawing apps needs. and at with another Launch OBS (to stream), along with 3 other apps I need and launch Twitchs and Streamlabs websites for their needs, tweet out that I am streaming (i dont but i could if i wanted to). its easy to use and figure out. Supports gifs which make customizing more unique and easy to figure out. My one and only complaint is that the buttons are mushy. I usually press too long and will open up a folder on the device and then press the button that corralates under it or I will think i pressed a button but it never registered. If they make a V2 (not the mini) with more tactile buttons Id pick it up

This unit makes things happen quickly while being easy to set-up. I enjoy having certain features available at the touch of a button and wouldn’t mind having a larger one!
