Elite Montessori Coin Box with Thicker Coins

The coins are really small. It smells strongly and has what appears to be grease stains inside of it. The side of the box has a warning choking hazard not for under three years old label crossed out with a marker.

This is a great simple toy for my son to play with. Quality of the toy is great. The “coins” are a little small BUT if you sit and watch younger children with it, I don’t think they would choke on the coins.

I ordered this for my 10-month old son. The finishing of the wood and paint was good; no rough edges and no chipping of paint. I didnt detect any strange smell either (which sometimes happens with certain wooden products). Im happy with this purchase and feel comfortable letting my baby explore it freely. He sometimes puts the chips/discs in his mouth. Theyre quite big so he wont choke on it, but there is potential danger if hes unable to take it out by himself. That hasnt happened so far, so I still consider this product safe for young children.

Based on the other reviews I was worried that this might not be a high quality product but I wanted to give it a try anyways. Im glad I did. It looks great to me! My daughter is a little on the older side for this, she just turned 1 year old, but she loves it! She was able to put the coins in the slot after only two tries. Im happy with this and it will last well for my next child. Also, based on the picture I thought that the knob for them to pull would be very small and maybe even hard to open the drawer with... but it looks like a standard drawer pull. I am very happy with my purchase.

I love the sturdiness of this wood box. My daughter is 13 months. The second time she sat and played with this item was for 25 min. At first, it was difficult for her to twist her wrist and place the coin in the slot, but she did it. As a mom, I would give this as a gift to other children. It’s a great investment.

This toy is awesome! My 12 month old loves it and my 4 year old plays with it too. The drawer slides out very easily and back in. The chips are nice and smooth and no paint chipping since the chips often end up in the mouth. The slot is large enogh for my younger babe to get the coins in though she likes to hold them mostly. I would absolutely recommend fantastic toy and worth the money. We love it.
