> 3 dayThe object permanence box is a traditional Montessori material that is designed to foster the concept of object permanence, things still exist even when you can’t see them. It also indirectly helps them develop focus and concentration and gives them practice developing fine motor skills through the whole-hand grasp. The box was designed exactly as the Montessori!

> 3 dayI was a bit worried after reading other reviews about a plastic ball, etc, but very pleased when a sturdy, well made wooden box AND wooden ball arrived this week. My smallest child is 7 months old, and upon showing him how to do this one time he did it as well. A huge success! He first used the ball to tap on the box, then put it in the hole, then tried other objects! He then tried to eat it all, so Im relieved it is natural and safe for him to slober on. Lol. I recommend offering different size balls and or shapes once your baby has mastered the main work. I offered mine a wool dryer ball (too big), a rectangle wooden montessori tool (just right), and a squish ball (too big unless pushed hard). Happy baby here!

> 3 dayOur 10 month old understood this right away. Unfortunately her favorite thing to do is to throw the heavy wooden ball around lol. Very nice wooden toy.
