21-04-2025Glue is glue so not really rating that. This was not packaged well and leaked about 1/4 before we were even able to open it. Can’t really go through returns (covid 19) and it would just be a big mess so I didn’t bother. But not happy with the clean up we had to do and loss of 1/4 product before we even were able to use

Greater than one weekThe gallon of Elmers Glue delivered to me came in an appropriate sized box with air bag padding. The cap had clear tap horizontally & a very strong gripper tape over the top. There were no leaks. Have not used the glue yet. Plan to make a lot of paper cache with it.

> 3 dayWe used the glue to make slime and it worked perfectly. The glue arrived packed in the box and there were no leaks. I would purchase again.

> 3 dayYoure probably smarter than I am & already knew lots of kids in the 50s used Elmers glue for their shop projects but when I was in a jam & started googling was glad to find not only should the Glue All I had laying around be fine for helping fix a broken wooden step but that the main drawback is it cures slower than wood glue which seemed like a win for me as felt like less pressure, *especially* since it was advised NOT to use formulas branded as washable since their bonds were obviously meant to be less resistant to moisture & provided a more flexible hold than stiff like wood glue *Knock on wood* but it seems to be working all right so far, especially for such an economical price point! I do tend to refill smaller bottles from this big jug but also did pour straight from it when coating the top of the wooden step to help ensure the wooden slats Id cut to cover it would bond tighter than just the screws was using would allow in hopes of keeping it as flat as possible Did have an unexpected drip on the carpet (from what I was fixing not the bottle) that wasnt covered & when I found it had become a *very* hard blob my landlord would *not* have appreciated & since its not washable didnt even consider that but did wave a hair dryer on the slowest setting around it (not coming close to touching it but just enough to heat it up) which made it pliable enough to pick out of the carpet relatively easy FWIW

> 3 dayTinted the Elmer’s glue with pigment and coated air dry clay with it! Created a good surface to paint on once dryed!

> 3 dayThe glue was the same as in small containers. So I was able to fill all my small containers at a great price.

Greater than one weekWhat can I say, its glue! Not the kinda that will fuse your fingers together and have you slowly prying them apart for an hour. Not the kind that will make you hallucinate unicorns (to my knowledge). Not the kind that will make you think its cheap, colored water and leave you cursing at your project. It glues, holds, and cleans up well. Great for many purposes.
