The fire suppression blankets arrived in good condition, and seemingly can do the job. At this point, they are placed next to the fire extinguisher and ready for service.

I hope i never have to use these fire blankets. But its always good to have them on hand. Plan to keep one in the kitchen and one in my truck. Wish I had one of these years ago. While traveling down Interstate 95 south near Ashland, VA, the engine in my Fiat caught on fire. This blanket sure would have been handy to throw over top of my engine. Who knows, I might be able to help some else in need on the highway.

My micro wave caught on fire somehow, I just grabbed my fire blanket and it was out in a minute. No permanent damage!

If you ever had a grease fire in a skillet you know the urgency of dealing with the emergency. I have one of the blankets hanging on the side of the cabinet above the stove. It is less than an arms length away and available in seconds when seconds count.
