> 24 hourAll the features - such as, but not limited to, hot-swappable, on-board memory, multiple connection profiles - add incredible value to this keyboard, especially for the price! I keep it plugged into my personal computer to use wired and then switch to one of the Bluetooth profiles to connect to my work laptop while Im working remotely. This allows for me to use macros that are saved to the boards memory while working as well. The battery lasts throughout the full work day before I switch back to the wired connection for my personal use at nights. I personally didnt like the sound of the stock switches, but I had already planned on swapping them out for Kailh Silent Pinks unless I was blown away by the stock ones. The keycaps feel great to type on. I wouldve loved to get the Ocean Star version for that color scheme, but it wasnt available when I was making my purchase.

> 24 hourNote* This review is based on the Gateron Pro Yellow. TL;DR at the bottom. I have mainly only used tactile switches in the past (Drop Pandas), though I have tried out Gateron yellow switches and some generic blue clicky switches in the past so here goes! The things I like: The build of this board is quite great! It is made of a nice and solid metal block. Fingerprints won’t be an issue but scratching may occur if you’re not too careful. The board is also much lighter than I was expecting but still has good weight to it. It charges through USB type C, as everything should, but has wireless connections as well (Bluetooth 5.0 & 2.4ghz) ! The connection is very stable whether in wired mode or Bluetooth/wireless mode. There is support for RGB with different color patterns. There seems to be a decent amount of dampening, but more on that later. The keycaps are made of good quality plastic and have a very slight texture to it. I really dig the colors of the keycaps and font they’re using as well. I think that it will hold up over the next few years with very little scratches or signs of use (if any). The font on the keycaps are also really pleasant to look at. Just a simple and elegant design. There is also a metal knob to control volume which I really like and has solid feedback when turning. The switches I chose are the Gateron Pro Yellows. I chose these specific switches to see if they differ from the original Gateron Yellows. These are what I would consider a linear switch but aren’t as smooth as I expected. They have really nice feedback when typing but exhibit minor scratchiness which. Being a linear switch, they are much quieter than any tactile switch and even some other linear switches. The stabilizers (spacebar, backspace, shift keys, etc.) are also good. They have pretty minimal rattle which is excellent! They remind me of the regular Gateron Yellows (duh), but not as smooth to type on. While they don’t have that extra thocc many might look for, they are definitely pleasant to type on and are definitely a great first switch to try out. Now onto the things I don’t really like: Unfortunately there’s no indication whether or not these are factory lubed on their listing or in the packaging/manual (that I noticed). The biggest con for me though, is the is that clacking sound of the keys when they hit the board. Since the board is made of a metal rather than plastic, resin, or any softer material, they are quite clacky as opposed to thocky (which I personally prefer). Though the stabilizers are surprisingly not rattly, the spacebar and tab keys seem to be the weak link. The keys also seem to have a stronger actuation force than other keys I’ve tried. Unless you disassemble the board yourself, there’s no way to tell if there’s any obvious dedicated dampening. Speaking of, I don’t see any screws on the board so modding might be a hassle but still possible. TL;DR The keyboard is nice! It’s definitely a more clacky sound but it is well built and smooth to type on. For under $100 I think it’s a really solid prebuilt keyboard. There’s some minor quirks that seem like they could’ve been avoided but theyre all minor. Modding may become a chore as there’s no obvious screws and is really the biggest con. It’s definitely a solid prebuilt to start off with, but if you’re looking to mod or add additional features (e.g., foam), you may want to look elsewhere.

> 24 hourEnjoyed this keyboard for a good 8 months. Suddenly its acting erratically despite all buttons working. Checked firmware was up to date, reinstalled from AKKOs website despite it was reported up to date. It worked for a week but now is repeating to lock my caps button and acts like the left ctrl key is being pressed making it frustrating.

> 24 hourThe keyboard both sounds and feels amazing to type on. Really nce thocc and sound from a small form factor keyboard. HOWEVER after not long of use at all and already having swtched to a new keyboard due to this reason im already having certain keys not work with keypresses. Such as my I and P keys not working most of the time. This is my favorite keyboard I own but due to it breaking around a month or so ago im now back to my $100 razer keyboard because I could wash this thing in a dshwasher and it would still work. Also notice that im using the AKKO keyboard to type this review. I wish this keyboard still worked I absolutely love it.

> 24 hourI love this keyboard. Its pre-lubed, the stabs are nice and chonky. Its got a good weight to it and it doesnt have a hollow resonant sound. Great typing feel as well. I chose Jelly Blue switches which are tactile. I love the switches, very nice on the fingers. As far as the key caps, awesome PBT with excellent fonts. It has USB wireless (dongle), USB C plug in, and Bluetooth. Also has hotplug switches and RGB. Wooo! All the features known to man!! Also you can load the Akko software for macros, more lighting effects, and other wizbang stuff. The Battery life is at least 2 weeks with out RGB. With, maybe a week. The RGB lighting effects are quite nice, maybe not special but just fine and you can choose from an assortment of patterns, colors, and effects. Cool. Love this board, get one!

> 24 hourI dont claim myself one of those custom mechanical keyboard gurus that have a ton of experiences in the hobby, but Ive had a few custom models and the budget prebuilt mechanical keyboards on my own recently. I got it with the Budgerigar switches which are on par with well-known aftermarket tactile switches like the U4T and love how the keyboard overall feels when typing and the deep and solid sound signature. It also has three different connection options (wireless, bluetooth and USB), and you can also choose between WIN and Mac to ensure different key functions work. If you are looking for a great non-custom mech keyboard, this is a great option!
