Epson Projector PowerLite Replacement Air Filter (V13H134A21)

As advertised. Perfect fit. Well worth the money to increase the (very expensive) bulb life.

Epson projector was shutting off due to thermal overload. Old filter was clean, but really old. ut this new one in and it helps quite a bit. Doesnt seem to overheat nearly as much. Ended up putting the projector in high altitude mode to crank of the fan speed as well just to be safe

Its a filter and its a good product , I swapped mine out after 3500 hours. shouldn’t have waited so long took a chance on damaging my projector. After swapping it out I washed the old one in hot soapy water and dried out . it looks like its good for at least three uses so after 6 month i will swap it out with this new one and so forth

This filter was a breeze to install, no pun intended. I have my projector in the basement and there is a lot of dust and airborne crap so this is a must. Make this a yearly fix and you will be very surprised to see the amount of dust this collects. Another good bit of advice is to adjust your settings to High Altitude so the fan operates on a higher setting and keeps your bulbs cool. This will lead to larger build up on the filter, but that is why you change it out yearly.

I had no idea the last time my Epson HomeCinema 8350 filter was changed. With a dead bulb and a noisy fan, I thought it might be time. This is not OEM, but its quite hard to tell. Everything down to the texture on the fabric is identical to the original. Note: I tried to install it in the wrong direction at first. Pay close attention to the way you pull your old filter out!

Just what I needed. i have been cleaning out the OEM filter for a couple of years now but recently, my projector kept putting up an overheating warning. My brother told me that eventually, I need to actually replace the filter as cleaning can only do so much and for how long Ive had this projector, it was quite overdue. I put this one in and no more overheating warnings. Projector runs great and I actually think that it helped remedy some breathing and inconsistency issues with the bulb by helping the projector to run cooler.
