> 3 dayThis is NOT for an Epson 5040UB. This was the first filter that came up on the search results for 5040UB Filter. They must have incorrect keywords embedded in their ad. Disgusting. Now i cant use my projector all weekend.

> 3 dayJust what I needed. i have been cleaning out the OEM filter for a couple of years now but recently, my projector kept putting up an overheating warning. My brother told me that eventually, I need to actually replace the filter as cleaning can only do so much and for how long Ive had this projector, it was quite overdue. I put this one in and no more overheating warnings. Projector runs great and I actually think that it helped remedy some breathing and inconsistency issues with the bulb by helping the projector to run cooler.

18-11-2024Its a filter and its a good product , I swapped mine out after 3500 hours. shouldn’t have waited so long took a chance on damaging my projector. After swapping it out I washed the old one in hot soapy water and dried out . it looks like its good for at least three uses so after 6 month i will swap it out with this new one and so forth
