EPSON T522 EcoTank Ink Ultra-high Capacity Bottle Color Combo Pack (T522520-S) for select Epson EcoTank Printers Color Multi-Pack

This was a three bottle set (Y, M & C) but the magenta bottle would not engage (didnt sit proper) and the ink did not flow out of the bottle. So Im returning the magenta bottle and the two empty ones. Funny thing with these genuine Epson bottles, the configuration (key slots) on the bottles were all the same. So I do not thing the three party making the ink bottles for Epson is actually following the Epson plan of ink refilling not becoming a nightmare.

These last a long time. I was running out of ink on my other printers and it was way more costly to replace the ink.

With Epsons Eco-tank model printers on the market, Im surprised any other inkjet printer manufacturers are still in business. The cost per color page is actually lower than the cost for black and white from my laser printer, which has largely fallen into disuse since picking up my present Eco-tank printer. These refill bottles are easy to use and mess free. We use ours fairly heavily, and it took almost 18 months to use up the initial supply before we had to reorder. With this refill, I expect to not need another refill for close to 2 years, and I use this printer to print signage and labels for my retail store. If youre looking at this product, you obviously already have one, so you know what Im talking about. Since I did work in the tech industry for more than 25 years, I know youll be tempted to use aftermarket inks. Honestly, even though Im out of my warranty period, Im going to keep you using the official Epson inks, because theyre a great value and of unquestionable quality.

This is almost a much of a review of Epson ECO tank printers as it is their ink. We used to spend about as much on just a color cartridge for our HP printer. Not only did the cartridges only last a few months, they would fail whenever they ran out of just one of the ink colors. Thats not an issue with Epson ECO tank printers, where one can just add as much of one or more colors as needed. There are companies selling inks that are said to be compatible with Epson inks, but Im happy to pay the price for the real thing when Im already saving so much on color printing.

It was easy to fill and the colors are great! And that matters!

Had to cut the black cartridge to get it to fit the machine, the rest of the colors worked fine. Looks like they put the wrong fitting on the wrong bottle.
