> 24 hourI like this knife a lot. The steel is right, the blade design is right (not too thick and heavy), the handle is comfortable. If I could change one thing about it, I would make it a little bigger. 4 blade, tiny bit bigger handle.

> 24 hourI think the Xancudo is the perfect size fixed blade for everyday carry. Made from the stainless 35vn backed up with Esees no questions asked warranty you really cant go wrong.

> 24 hourI find small fix blade knives far more practical and useful than big knives. The Izula used to be my favorite EDC. The Xancudo will likely replace it due to better ergonomics. Fit and finish are perfect on mine. The only thing I really dont like is the color. Hopefully different color scales and sheaths will be available eventually.

> 24 hourIts the perfect edc knife. Typical ESEE quality, great edge retention and it feels great in the hand.

> 24 hourGreat fit, finish, materials, and balance. A nice change of pace for ESEE. Only comment is that I would have preferred to see a good Kydex sheath, with a functional thumb-break, and maybe tension adjustment, at this price point. The supplied molded plastic sheath is adequate, but cumbersome for deployment and re-sheathing.

> 24 hourI own many knives, as probably most folks do if they own Esee knives. This knife fits so well in the hand, the contour and texture of the scales are sublime, the color is hideous. Well maybe not hideous, as it is starting to grow on me. The blade came perfect, hair popping sharp, with a very symmetrical profile - great grind! Love the stonewash as well! So wish they would do an Izula in 1095 with stonewash, like the Ka-Bar Becker Kephart. The retention of the sheath is pretty stout. Some folks have said it’s too tight. I can see what they mean, but it also insures it won’t fall out if suspended or lashed inverted. I removed the scales to examine the blade as well, no lock tight - thank you Esee! The stonewash was perfect, and this would be a good candidate to be skeletonized. The folks at this company are responsive as well. I called them up to check on the credibility of a Amazon seller and they actually answered and provided all the info requested - btw the Amazon seller was legit and recommended!!! I can’t remember the last time I called a company and an English speaking American answered from the company, not an answering service from over seas. In closing I can’t say enough good things about this company and the products they produce. So wonderful to see the pride in craftsmanship and service this great American company provides.

> 24 hourWow received my new Esee Xancudo S35VN steel knife and it is a work of art. Blade is super sharp . This baby is compact but fits in your hand nicely. I actually like the sheath. This will be a great neck knife or just a fantastic belt knife. I would use it more for everyday carry than a camp knife. You could use it for small task but a Esee 5 or 6 would be more realistic for hard use. If you like knifes just buy it.

> 24 hourFits great in large hands, not that small of an imprint, yet small enough for easy carry.
