> 3 dayBought for a special project to paint a neighbors desk she bought at goodwill. I ended up with the desk instead because we took it to my house to paint and fix up to then take to her house across the street. Turns out she didnt feel it would fit and she no longer wanted it. So Its a classic 30x60 inch desk with 7 drawers. Two file drawers were locked we removed the locks and were no longer a problem. But now one drawer is acting locked which of course cant be so somethings off with its slide. Well eventually get it released so I can then paint the thing. Following classic prep by sanding all over and lucky its mostly flat areas not a lot of fancy trim. And then you go over with a tack cloth to insure its super cleaned off after sanding. And that is why we bought this tack cloth. A bit more expensive than the cheaper stuff. I will paint it in a soft grey using a Sherwin Williams special satin paint. I am thinking of painting over the top only with a layer or two of polyurethane clear satin too. But the only place I can put this monster I didnt plan to own or want..is my sewing room. I now need to put Sterilites bin drawer units from floor to ceiling stacking 4 half drawers in the middle dividing the stack of full size bins in half. Three towers. Right now I have 6 towers just under 6 or maybe 6 feet high not precise. I forget their actual height. But the way I set these up I had room to put a board to keep the plastic tops from bending and warping and could stack two high 4 wide large plastic totes too across 3 of them. Then theres a gap with a 30 table that holds my sergers and a wall phone then two towers. Those two towers have to be taken apart and two of the half drawers and 3 of the large drawers will now fit onto the other three towers each to take them almost to full ceiling height. I will cut out a piece of fabric to keep the dust down at the top and periodically take down to wash. Anyway it still leaves me with 5 half drawers that will have to stack on one side of the DESK...reason I want a clean super smooth finish because I worry the plastic bin drawers mini towoer can damage or cut into the desk top. I may add a felt bottom to make sure it prevents that too. Now the only negative with this or any tack cloth is it can leave a slightly tacky or oil like film if you over work it or rub it. Another reason to go with this a bit more money because as a tack cloth it picks up quicker and holds better and avoids you wanting to or needing to rub it in or around too much. So thats a lot of work thats on hold while it rains. And desk is outside. Also Im in the middle of my own bit off more than I intended project with repairing a 22 year old Class B RV. Lifes challenges one must stay flexible.

> 3 dayTheyre cloths, theyre tacky, they pick up sawdust and leave a slight waxy feel on wood surfaces - aka, like every other tack cloth ive used! For the price, theyre good. They Do their job exactly as expected, no more, no less. Id buy them again.

> 3 dayThese are great tack clothes. Nicely packaged so they dont dry out. Very sticky and great at removing dust, etc from whatever youre planning to paint/stain. I would recommend you wear rubber, nitrile, or vinyl gloves due to their stickiness (and also avoiding extra skin oil contaminates on whatever youre working on). Great product.

Greater than one weekThese are necessary to put a finishing touch on many do it yourself projects. I sometimes craft and refinish furniture and always do my final clean with a tack cloth after sanding to get a smooth finish for the stain or sealer. Tried one and it performed as expected on par with other brands I have puexhsed.s Contains one dozen cotton cloths. You would be able to cut these smaller to suit your needs. A good value over similar cloths at the home improvement stores.

Greater than one weekWhile the intent seems to be using these on wood items they also work on metal. I refurbished a set of 4 wheels from my SUV and after cleaning, sanding, etc these cloths were perfect for final prep before primer and paint. Paint came out great so obviously work well. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayThe before and after shots say it all. Went from a lot of fine dust on the surface of some sanded wood and wood filler to basically nothing. Much better than wiping with a regular rag, I will definitely get these again. I cleaned off about 80 board feet of lumber and the cloth that I opened still has plenty of cleaning ability left. Great buy.

> 3 dayI do woodworking and these tack cloths do a great job of picking up the dust after sanding. Before staining and/or applying a final poly or oil finish elimination of dust is extremely important to the final product. These tack cloths serve that purpose very well.

> 3 dayThese tack cloths are a must to have around! They are very tacky and work great. So far we’ve used them to clean wood in preparation for painting.
