UPDATE: I have found the 90/14 Sharp needles to be perfect due to the fact that it has a bigger thread hole so the sewing machine needle threader will tend to work easier due the hook on the machine threader device having a bigger area to fit through. Anyone who has had trouble with the machine threader working knows exactly what I am talking about. Once you get used to to your machine threader working most of the time, youll find it hard to go back to a smaller sized needle with all the troubles of the threader working on a hit or miss situation. Yes it leaves a bigger hole than the 80/12 but only one size bigger and well worth it - IMHO. The 16/100 denim is perfect for thick denim or anything with seams that have numerous layers of fabric. It is a thick needle so be aware.

I have been using these needles for over 10 years .The embroidery machine are a babylock and a viking . They are strong and for embroidery I have never had any problems .

So far, so good. Sewing thru 4 layers of cotton fabric and 2 layers of cotton batting with no problem using my Brother HC1850.

Could not be happier. These should be Timex needles as they take a lickin & keep on tickin.

I have used these for many years. Best needles I have found for denim & other heavy fabrics

Will be buying more of these when they bend or break

What can I say - Its Schmetz - always works - I never use any other kind.

Very sturdy, strong needles for sewing eleastic on masks. Definitely recommend.
