> 3 dayUPDATE: I have found the 90/14 Sharp needles to be perfect due to the fact that it has a bigger thread hole so the sewing machine needle threader will tend to work easier due the hook on the machine threader device having a bigger area to fit through. Anyone who has had trouble with the machine threader working knows exactly what I am talking about. Once you get used to to your machine threader working most of the time, youll find it hard to go back to a smaller sized needle with all the troubles of the threader working on a hit or miss situation. Yes it leaves a bigger hole than the 80/12 but only one size bigger and well worth it - IMHO. The 16/100 denim is perfect for thick denim or anything with seams that have numerous layers of fabric. It is a thick needle so be aware.
