We bought this play yard to use to put foster kittens in as they got old enough to start learning to play! It works perfectly! You can make it just 4 panels to start out with & then add the other 2 panels for a larger area! I love that you can also purchase 2 more panels for an even larger play area or to make 2 smaller areas!

This gate allowed me to shape and shift it to my toddlers needs. We used it when she was crawling to keep her in a safe areas and now it’s kept open to allow her to play with out climbing out books shelf. I’m very satisfied with my purchase.

I have a 6month old that crawls like crazy but of course he is not stable enough to do it without rolling over at times. I have hardwood throughout the house since its safer than carpet in terms of chemical contaminants. But when he rolls over he hits his head. I tried the little cushioned helmets but they wont stay on plus of course he hates it. I now have the snap together mats surrounded by 3 sets of these. Love them!! They give him freedom to explore and I dont have to worry about his little head. Babies need the chance to move about independently but for several months they will roll over, fall over, or just drop their head and it hurts them. This is a perfect solution. And I can leave the space for a couple of minutes without worry.

I actually ordered this for puppies, not a baby. I liked it for adding to their kennel, added a lot of space! Worked pretty well, but SO light, its hard to keep in place! I would not use for babies crawling age or older for sure. I like that it is easy to connect and disconnect. I do not like that it is very hard to clean though, so many crevices. You need a sprayer in the shower, or hose it off outside. Dont let anything dry on it.

My husband and I have a big yard outside of town and we dont have a fence so I wanted something that I could put my toddler in when Im working in the yard where he could be safe. I actually bought three of these and hooked them together to make a big outdoor play space. Its awesome and the fence has spikes that you pull out and they stick into the ground which makes it really sturdy. The price of this play space is more reasonable than others as well. Would highly recommend.

I’ve never used this for it’s “intended purpose” of having an enclosed play yard. I tried once and my clingy son was NOT having it… But this has been just what we needed to block my son off from certain parts of the house. We first used it in our apartment to keep him contained in the living room and out of the cat food. Then when we moved to our house I used it to keep him out of the kitchen during a renovation and off of the bay window. Now my parents are moving to a house with stairs where a traditional baby gate won’t work, so this fence will come to the rescue again! I basically hold the ends in place with a piece of furniture or strategically fold the sections to be able to do this. This fence has been so versatile and useful!

I bought this to put around our Christmas tree in order to keep my toddler away from the tree. It was a much cheaper option than a lot of other playpens recommended for that purpose. It worked. But since Christmas we have used it as a playpen. Its only so-so as a playpen. When my toddler leans against it, as she does all the time, the whole thing tilts. Nothing bad has happened, but it probably shouldnt do that. Worked great for the Christmas tree though!

Review is based use for our DOG. please note this is not a review for HUMAN use. Purchased out of the need to contain a medium size post-surgery dog for 2+ months. Though any plastic gate is inherently fugly, this one is less so by virtue of not being multicolored. The off-white color is as pictured and the gate design somehow feels less industrial than some Ive used as baby (not pet) corrals in the past. Maybe Im just used to looking at it, but it doesnt stand out as much as some of the gates Ive seen. Added the 2 panel extender so that we had the needed 6x6 space in any configuration so Dog in Cone of Shame could take a few steps without bashing into the gate. Worth the money to buy as a set, as purchasing the 2 panel extender separately was more expensive than if Id added it to the cart with the original purchase. Food for thought. Dog is not the type to rear up, shove, claw, chew, or otherwise bust through a barricade. So I cant speak to durability in that regard. However it has held up to heavy daily use. Each individual section has a brown push button at the top, that allows you to open that section to swing like a door. It is really handy to have this on every section so no matter how it is positioned, we can easily help our dog (whos also enjoying wearing a Cone of Shame in addition to doggie isolation) stumble through any section to get out for a potty break. Now that dog is allowed a little more space, weve also taken sections apart to use as a doorway barricade which I find really handy. The gate is the slightest bit flimsy-as in, I dont know that this would stand up to an aggrieved 18 month old or a more determined pet. One thing I would note if youre considering it for human use is that the gate patterns are a diamond shape. I wonder if little fingers and toes would find this pinchy as they attempted escape. Pic attached shows just how lovely your home could be if you have a dog with a Cone of Shame AND a baby gate! Lucky you!

I use this indoor and outdoors. I use it indoor as a barrier between the kitchen and living room. I use it outdoors to keep the pup inside the patio area. Very good quality, easy to fold up and move around (though bulky), easy to transition between spaces. I bought it for $69 and would buy another if I could to add on to mine, but the price has gone up considerably since purchasing two months ago.

Very versatile, awesome gate. Perfect for our open space. Just make sure it’s zigzagged and put something up against it to stabilize if you want to use it as a barrier -which is not its intended use, but works for us (the hexagon or a pentagon is what the company suggests.) Sooooo easy to use. Easy to travel with. Easy to setup and put away, adjusting takes 2 seconds, etc. No drilling into walls needed. Yay!! Seriously, who wants to tear up their walls if they don’t have to?! Good option for open floor plans. ...Don’t pay attention to the weird issues people are saying about this. I was nervous after reading offhand things people warned of, that’s probably a once in a million users’ issue. It is actually VERY useful for little ones 8-18 months and beyond-especially during winter and this pandemic where we’re cooped up indoors. Would purchase 100% again without hesitation. Not paid for this endorsement btw, just a busy parent trying to help other parents. Very grateful for a reasonably priced gate so that I can cook and use the restroom without wondering where my little one has wandered off to.
