> 24 hourReview is based use for our DOG. please note this is not a review for HUMAN use. Purchased out of the need to contain a medium size post-surgery dog for 2+ months. Though any plastic gate is inherently fugly, this one is less so by virtue of not being multicolored. The off-white color is as pictured and the gate design somehow feels less industrial than some Ive used as baby (not pet) corrals in the past. Maybe Im just used to looking at it, but it doesnt stand out as much as some of the gates Ive seen. Added the 2 panel extender so that we had the needed 6x6 space in any configuration so Dog in Cone of Shame could take a few steps without bashing into the gate. Worth the money to buy as a set, as purchasing the 2 panel extender separately was more expensive than if Id added it to the cart with the original purchase. Food for thought. Dog is not the type to rear up, shove, claw, chew, or otherwise bust through a barricade. So I cant speak to durability in that regard. However it has held up to heavy daily use. Each individual section has a brown push button at the top, that allows you to open that section to swing like a door. It is really handy to have this on every section so no matter how it is positioned, we can easily help our dog (whos also enjoying wearing a Cone of Shame in addition to doggie isolation) stumble through any section to get out for a potty break. Now that dog is allowed a little more space, weve also taken sections apart to use as a doorway barricade which I find really handy. The gate is the slightest bit flimsy-as in, I dont know that this would stand up to an aggrieved 18 month old or a more determined pet. One thing I would note if youre considering it for human use is that the gate patterns are a diamond shape. I wonder if little fingers and toes would find this pinchy as they attempted escape. Pic attached shows just how lovely your home could be if you have a dog with a Cone of Shame AND a baby gate! Lucky you!

> 24 hourI purchased this Evenflo baby gate because we purchased a new home and don’t want our large dogs (136 pounds being the heaviest) scratching the paint and wood of the doors at the nice house like they have done at our old house. The gate comes in 6 sections of panels with a connecting hinge between each, so it can completely encircle something. There is a white “button” or mechanism on the top of the hinge that you have to press really hard and then muscle it apart. If I had to find a critique about this baby gate, it would be that it is difficult to disassemble. For me, I only had to do it twice (once for each section), so it wasn’t a problem. The hinges snap to a variety of positions, which makes them very stable. If they didn’t snap to the different angles, they would be easier to collapse by putting pressure on the corners or sides. I was able to use the one gate I ordered to form a barrier around the single side porch door, and the remaining four panels to surround the double back doors. The panels are tall enough that the dogs see it as a barrier, and it was easy to train them to avoid it, but short enough that I can lean over it to put food down. The gate is light and stable enough that I can reposition it with one hand without it collapsing. Overall, we are extremely satisfied with our purchase and highly recommend this Evenflo pet/baby gate. 5/5 stars

> 24 hourI took this to softball practice and softball games it contained my child in a couple of other parents kids also. It is lightweight but sturdy enough to keep them in it does fall over if they push on it like two toddlers it will fall over but it also contains what you need to contain.

> 24 hourI have used a few different fences, as a mom and grandma and this is my favorite one. I found eight sections is awesome, if you have the room for that many panels. It is the easiest to fold up and to open like a gate on any section. Plus I love that it has those steaks you can pull out and put in the bottom of each connection when using it outside on the grass. Good for indoors and outdoors. I would highly recommend.

> 24 hourI love this pen! It’s the perfect size for my puppies. The only downfall is the shape of the holes. My little five week old puppy got her teeth stuck on the bar and her nose was stuck in the hole and I had to pry her mouth out of the hole while she was crying. Scared me to death. They need to make the holes rectangular or square to avoid this. The shape of the holes is dangerous.

> 24 hourIve gone 6 years without ever needing one of these. There are 5 years between my youngest and my oldest. With my first I honestly never needed a baby cage because she wasnt a trouble maker and was generally easy to manage while accomplishing my own tasks around the home. I literally had to baby proof nothing. But THIS baby, as we call him danger-bud is prone to danger. He is obsessed with stairs, the stove, scaling things and licking electrical outlets. Its a lot harder to keep him alive than my first. Weve had this setup in the kitchen for a few weeks along with some padded floor tiles to protect him from the concrete floor. Hes generally not too upset when I put him in his caged space. He tries to scale it and tries to shake it down but its held up to his escape tactics. This allows me up to 30 minutes of time to make dinner, clean the kitchen, and generally get stuff done. I didnt realize when I ordered it that it also has stakes at the bottom so you can secure it to an outside area. We dont have a yard but are moving soon and wouldnt mind using this outside as well. This was such a great purchase I wish I would have gotten it sooner. We wont get as much use out of it since hes my last kiddo...so maybe well just have to get a puppy to pass it on to!
