> 3 dayIt has a very loud coil whine. This is now the second EVGA PSU I have bought. The last one was a 750w and this one is a 850w. They both have coil whine. This one developed the coil whine around a month after I bought it. I primarily use it for gaming and watching youtube. Never buying EVGA again. Will also tell my friends to steer clear of EVGA. The coil whine is loud and annoying. Super bummed out this happened.

> 3 dayI bought this in January and put it into a system in around March of 2021. It worked really well daily up until December 8th of 2021. I tried the tester in various outlets and can confirm that it’s the PSU that failed on me.

> 3 dayI don’t hear it at all when it’s in use. Handles an Intel i7-9700k with an MSI RTX 2070 just fine.

> 3 dayThis is what came inside the Amazon box! This is clearly a used PSU!

> 3 dayThe installation was extremely easy and the unit looks good. The power supply is really consistent and provides ample power for my system, however, there is an extremely loud coil whine that is apparent and is clearly something wrong.

> 3 dayFan is quite and has an eco mode to save on power when not overclocking CPU. It great being fully modular since you can add the cables you need and disregard the ones you dont. Easy install and has a 10 year warranty cant beat that. This is by far the best power supply hands down in this price range. I highly recommend this product and will buy from EVGA in the future.
