07-04-2025In the years Ive been building rigs with ludicrous power requirements (think 10 graphic cards worth of power) Ive inevitably had PSUs from all different brands- some would just die or some would just not boot the system at all. EVGA has been the go-to since Ive had numerous failures from Corsair, Thermaltake, Seasonic, and an ungodly number from brands that probably had no business building power supplies in the first place. I dont abuse my hardware, nor do I baby it, but I do expect it to do its job.

> 3 dayTheres wires everywhere. More than you need. But thats how they all come. Make sure you use the right wires, and connect them properly each time, until you hear the click. And make sure that you have adequate space in your pc case, otherwise making new attachments becomes a pain. But in terms of noise and efficient, very solid.

> 3 dayI hooked it up to the psu tester at work and everything checks out (at least for the one I ordered) so no complaints. Using it for my Ryzen 7 5800x and RTX 3070 with a slight OC on GPU and CPU with no stability issues (like my old m2 silent pro 850w). Well needed upgrade and will probably last me as long as I need it to.

> 3 dayWith the newest line pulling over 270 Watts, its advisable to get 1000w minimum to be future prone. I heard the newer 4000 series will be pulling over 300-400 watts so I think moving forward a 1000w PSU will be de-facto standard. Evgas make really good PSUs with 10 year warranty in case anything bad happens. Really recommend the SUPERNOVA line. Never had any issues with them.
