> 3 dayThe item is easy to install, and is very quiet. The only issue I have is that it causes random black screen restarts with my RTX 3070. This would happen about once a week. After installing an RTX 3080, the frequency of the restarts increased, and I have to hold the computer power button on to start the system. This wasnt the case in the past. The max power draw of my system is under 550W, so this750W power supply should be plenty capable, but it cant handle the power spikes of the 30 series cards.

> 3 dayIf anyone is looking at Amazon reviews to determine whether a PSU is a good unit or not, youre doing it wrong. You need to rely on tech sites that hook up these power supplies to various testing machines to measure stats like ripple, hold up time, and several other key factors. Ill save you the trip now to let you know that this is a solid unit. Most sites are going to give this unit a perfect score aside from the cables may be a little stiff. Indeed they are, but it isnt actually that bad. Id rather have my cables a little stiff than to have a limp and pathetic cord that I can tell has no protection. If you are using a single graphics card, and a CPU that isnt an i9/Ryzen 9 with a hefty overclock, this unit is too much for you. You can save a few $ and get a 450W/550W unit. I picked this unit specifically for my 3900x and hopefully soon to be 3080Ti/3080. My motherboard has an additional EPS plug, which this unit provides, and is fully modular. One final note, please make sure you check what each plug is supposed to run to, and that you plug it in the correct spot in the PSU.

> 3 dayWas worried about the reviews on this EVGA G5 850w psu. But I threw it in my rig and going strong. Cables are perfect length and look good in the case barely hear the fan even with ECO off. Never had a problem with EVGA good product

> 3 dayMy PSU went faulty after three months of use. It kept shutting off randomly and causing my computer to become unstable. It once shut down during a BIOS update and I thought my computer was toast. Luckily, it had survived but it was close. Go with another brand. EVGA PSUs already starting off on a bad foot. Id say go with a Corsair or a Seasonic PSU.

> 3 dayJust terrible, now I have to go thru the hassle of returning this, cause an incompetent company doesnt know how to make a power supply. Made a loud pop, and most likey blew a capacitor, still runs, but is probably damging my system, what a waste of time thanks EVGA :( very dissatisfied

> 3 dayI LOVE Modular power supplies. You only have to hide the wires youre using, because you dont have all the others in the bundle.

24-11-2024I loved the form factor and design. Don’t know what happened, it seemed it was about to take off every now and then, especially when i was playing a game (Gears5). Returned.
