> 24 hourAs a novice PC builder, I was seriously considering coughing up $80 to have Amazon send over an expert to install this PSU into my computer. However, I decided to take the risk and do it myself. The installation process was relatively easy because the instruction is succinct. The only way youll fail is if youre illiterate or youre blind. The most difficult part was cable management. I have a Zalman Z9 Neo White Mid Tower ATX case, but since the cables arent flat, the side panel cannot snap back on 100%; the bottom is protruding, but thats something I have to live with until I buy a better case. Overall, this PSU is a must have for those who have invested a large sum of money into their rig. You need a top tier PSU to back up all those expensive parts!

> 24 hourDunno why, but in the last month I had two brand new supplies fail in a row. Both $150 range Corsair and EVGA 850s that showed up already defective or failed within minutes. The Corsair took an entire new build out with it. The EVGA showed up with a funky 12v rail right out of the box. Doesnt say much about quality control anymore does it? These days the manufacturer name doesnt mean as much, it is the actual model that sets them apart, or not. And there is no way to build right cheaper!

> 24 hourI changed my GPU twice and it was very easy using this power supply because it is compatible with all types of sockets and even provide high quality cables for all types of sockets. Very satisfied.

> 24 hourExtremely quiet. Purchased it because of a Toms Hardware comparison for noise output. Performs as expected. The only sound I hear from my case is my mechanical drives.

> 24 hourWorks great, is quiet and runs cool. Only complaint is that the wires are stiffer than a board.

> 24 hourNow days most power supplies in the same 80plus rating bracket made by reputable companies are just about the same. But EVGA tips the scale with this one with beautiful packaging quality cables in abundance (seriously, if this power supply doesnt provide enough cables for you, your custom rig is probably getting custom sleeved cables and you wouldnt use these anyway). Its the little things that matter, like how they think about the handful of people who watercool, and need a jumper to toggle the pump without powering the system. The one they include is the best Ive seen, EVGA quality for sure. Its a self contained block that pug into your 24pin unlike the majority of others that has exposed wires.
