> 24 hourThis is my second hip pack (w hydration bladder) that I have used in the last 4 years. The last one was an Osprey Seral. BLUF - like this much better than the Osprey for a number of reasons: 1. Sits lower on the back 2. Not bulky 3. Waist straps are very comfortable and not in way 4. The airflow back padding works - hot day ride and my back was not dripping 5. Roomy enough for a 2-3 hour ride - carried hydration, tube, levers, multi-tool, phone and wallet

> 24 hourI bought this pack 3 years ago and it has become my go-to bag for shorter hikes. With both the water bladder and water bottle pockets, I can change up configurations. If I want to have room for a lunch/snack or lightweight jacket, I toss water bottles in the pockets and dont use the reservoir. The bottle holders are just deep enough that the pull cord snugs up well around a standard bike water bottle (you wont fit wider bottles). If its a really hot day, I can use both the reservoir and bottle pockets. I can fit my necessities...sunglasses, small bottle of sunscreen, some snacks, keys and ID/credit cards, lip balm, and most importantly, my phone and inhaler. When I bought it, the front pocket fit the phone I had at the time. Its a tight fit now with a larger phone. The velcro plus buckle strap is very secure. Im a plus size person, and wear it at pretty much the full extent of the straps (check the sizing if youre a larger waist), but its still secure...and provides light lumbar support. I do most of my sweating along my upper back, so was struggling with backpack style hydration packs, plus a lot of those dont have good hip support, adding weight on my shoulders. Moving everything to my hips is much more comfortable for me, and I feel more balanced when I need to lean down or scrabble up a slope. After 3 years of frequent use, it shows no signs of damage/wear other than needing to replace the water tube (they all need regular cleaning/replacement). My only cons on this pack are the magnetic tube holder...its a weak magnet and I knocked the tube off constantly just brushing against it. I swapped it with a clip holder. I also wish the mouthpiece had a cover on it to keep dirt out. This seems like an uncommon feature for some reason. Lastly, the front pocket zipper only zips up the sides, then a flap across the top uses velcro. This always feels a little insecure. Id prefer a zipper all the way around. None of these are dealbreakers, but keep it from a full 5-star rating (Id say its more of a 4.5...being my most-used hydration pack really says a lot).

> 24 hourHad high expectations. This would be] a great solution for hydration for long GRVL sessions, but after just couple uses, the Velcro belt no longer hold together and The only thing keeping it together is the secondary clip . Otherwise it would continue to unvelcro! Very annoying.. wish I could’ve returned but don’t have that option now..

> 24 hourI was using a regular Fanny pack and it bounced around a lot. With the stretchy waist band, it’s eliminated the issue as much as I think I could. I use it everywhere I go now. I don’t use the bladder (I need the extra space for what I do), in the summer because I like water bottles better, however my bottles freeze up in the winter so I use the bladder and it works good.

> 24 hourMost of my MTB rides are less than 2 hours, and with the typical hydration pack I felt like I was bringing more pack than stuff. On the trail, it took about 10 minutes to adjust to a fanny pack, but after that it pretty much disappeared even with a full bladder of water. Its perfect for my needs, I can fit phone, energy chews, keys, pump, light and first aid kit with no problems. I did move my tube/tool to the bike, but those will fit in if you want. Compared to the race (which I tried), the upgraded strap on this one really does make a difference.

> 24 hourIve tried two hip packs. This one is really well designed and built. However. I dont understand how people ride with these packs. Even when not full of water and minimal gear/tools it feels like your pants are being pushed down. Great for smooth trails but rocky mountain bike trails. No thanks.

> 24 hourThe bag is put together fine. My only complaint is I wish I knew the large pocket is a small as it is. Pretty small With a full bladder of water it is tough to get a super light weight wind breaker in the bag. Other than that is fits nice.
