Perfect fit for the 2022 Ford Escape SE. Why didnt Ford provide this to begin with?

Bought a a gift for my husband, it fits his Bronco. Everything in the center console is now organized and he likes rubber grippy mats.

I didnt realize this actually sits at the top, which makes the bottom a nice open space for a junk drawer for larger items. Very pleased with it.
