> 3 dayGreat product in terms of: 1) it is what it says it is, and 2) it does what it says it does. That being said one wire was 5 short and the other 3 guess i got the end of the spool, if you get screwed because something is an inch short its really your fault (consumer) for not over estimating your measurements when it comes to wiring. I did so and therefore no issues at all. I still have ≈3 of each.

> 3 dayNOT AS ADVERTISED: Cables are nice and flexible, but are not 4 gauge. Bought these to replace worn out cables for my welder. My old cables were 4 gauge as stated by the print on the cable. these cables are almost half the size (diameter) of the old ones. These are also labeled as 4 gauge, but clearly not the same. I already opened the package and will keep them, as i am sure i will find some use for them as battery cables, or something similar. But i will be ordering a new set of REAL 4 or 2 gauge cables for my welder. Item would have received 5 stars if it were advertised for what it truly is, but it not 4 gauge cable as it is advertised.

> 3 dayReceived the cables today (10 red x 10 black, #4 GA welding cable). Stripped back a little insulation and the diameter of the conductor is between 0.23 and 0.24 Its a little tough to measure the finely stranded cable since it deforms when I put the caliper on it. That compares favorably to the spec for #4AWG stranded cable, which is around .232 - .235, depending on the stranding. It is much bigger than #6AWG, which is .185-.186, again depending on the stranding. Great transaction and good product as advertised.

> 3 dayI have reviewed and looked at different sellers and there have been quite a few buyers comments about the gauge being undersized. After a lot of deliberation I decided to take a chance and buy this particular wire cable (4 gauge) and it turns out after receiving it, I checked the wire cable with a diameter gauge and it is 4 gauge. Now if it is not 4 gauge then there must be a conspiracy with those that make the gauges and for those that make the wire cables. I doubt that this is so. Otherwise there would be a lot of overheated wires out there across the country if this were the case. So for those of you like myself that have read the negative comments about gauge size, I hope that my review has helped you in making your decision in buying this product. Ty.

> 3 dayI used these to make a new wiring harness for my battery/grounds on my Jeep Cherokee. What a huge difference! I used a vice to crimp on copper ring terminals with some heat shrink tubing and it looks great! I couldnt be happier with them. Very flexible as well.
