Exo Terra Dinosaur Egg Fossil Ornament

These things are awesome! So much space in the eggs to hide. The egg you see on the right with no opening is fully open in the inside for them to hide. The kids geckos are still babies and have no difficulty climbing in and out. Price is a little high I think, all other stuff I have is under 15$ but I HAD to have them for our dinosaur theme terrarium.

Looks super fake compared to the larger size and my gecko wont go anywhere near it. I love Exo Terra stuff, but this just wasnt up to snuff.

I bought this for my baby cornsnake. Its a lot bigger than it looks in the picture so make sure you pay close attention to the dimensions! My snake loves this hide though, and its his favorite place to go after eating.

I purchased this for my daughters leopard gecko. I think he prefers this to the other rocks,etc.

My Baby Piebald Ball Python absolutely loves this. Ive bought multiple hides for her and she always sleeps in this one.

I kept this hide in the corner on the basking side of my corn snake enclosure. I had the hardest time making the temperatures stable and it always seemed to be too hot. The surface temp of the hide reached 93°F and ambient temp reached 86 despite my environment control center being set to 83. Once I removed the hide all temperatures normalized. This hide has a slight sheen to it which bounces light increasing temperatures in that area. So if your probe is not directly on the hide the ambient temp probe reading and the actual temp around the hide reading will be off by a lot - for this I took off a star. Otherwise it’s a very cool hide. In the photo is the night setting. You can see how the hide reflects light (amplifying temps).

Doing a Jurassic park theme tank for my crested gecko. Looks like it also going to make an amazing moist hide!
