Exo Terra Dinosaur Egg Fossil Ornament

I purchased this for my daughters leopard gecko. I think he prefers this to the other rocks,etc.

The are well sized for my needs, look very nice and have no sharp edges that hurt my pet, as other hiding ornament that I have bought before.

This is a neat little fixture. I have it in a tank with my leopard gecko, and he likes to climb over it sometimes. Its open on the bottom, which makes it a little easier to clean and wash.

My little hoggie has never looked so cute. She loves it and slithered right in! Now I have a baby dinosaur so I can die happy. 10/10 now my geckos need to be dinos too

I kept this hide in the corner on the basking side of my corn snake enclosure. I had the hardest time making the temperatures stable and it always seemed to be too hot. The surface temp of the hide reached 93°F and ambient temp reached 86 despite my environment control center being set to 83. Once I removed the hide all temperatures normalized. This hide has a slight sheen to it which bounces light increasing temperatures in that area. So if your probe is not directly on the hide the ambient temp probe reading and the actual temp around the hide reading will be off by a lot - for this I took off a star. Otherwise it’s a very cool hide. In the photo is the night setting. You can see how the hide reflects light (amplifying temps).

Fun decor with nice detail. This is our snakes favorite hide and our Dino loving toddler loves to look at the Dino eggs!

My leopard geckos love this egg. I have two females and several other hide choices for them but I always find them in this egg.
