Simply too small to house any sort of vertebrate ethically. I mean it is VERY small. I have some plants growing in it now after realizing I would be kind of a jerk if I put any thing else in there. On the plus side it leaks like thats its job! In theory it should hold water up to about an inch high where the bottom of the door starts. There is a hole in the sealant though. I patched it but, seriously come on.

This enclosure is just the perfect size for one of my tarantulas. This size and brand is just one of the three that I own so far. I look forward to ordering another one when I need one and keeping my fingers crossed Ill be able to find one. Sometimes hard to find this size.

The terrarium seems sturdy and accommodates by granddaughters gecko as a weekend habitat when they are staying with me. it wouldnt be large enough for full-time use but works just fine for a short stay.

I bought this for my baby crested gecko. In retrospect, I should have gotten the 8x8x12 on for him, because it ends up being a little short for his needs, but he does pretty well anyway, hes still really small. Very well made terrarium, sturdy, and he cant escape (unless he decides to run up my arm and make a break for it.) Exo-Terra makes good stuff.

I used this for my baby eurodactylodes (which is a small gecko), and it is to small for him as an adult. I dont think many reptiles or amphibians would be able to live in the terrium as adults but mabye some invertebrates. It say its size in the title.

Ill start by saying these terrariums are fantastic. The lid has holes for sensors that have a column that slides them shut to seal the holes when not in use. The foam background has gaps to hide temperature cables and the like. The airflow in the front door has a removable plastic cover to clean it when needed. The lid is of high quality and a very fine mesh. The problem, however is that darned front door. From the three I ordered it varies from being incredibly loosely shut when closed to the point that an animal could force a gap to let themselves out with little force to being so tight a cricket wouldnt have a chance of escaping. The gaps around the door, however are always rather large and would allow some invertebrates out if youre not careful. Its confusing that the manufacturer took some much time to make sure the top screen and background were airtight yet completely ignored the huge honking front door. Its absolutely perplexing.

It is exactly as advertised, perfect for my euathlus species red. She loves her new home and started webbing it up. I am satisfied and would like to plan on purchasing more

This is a very cute terrarium. It is well made and keeps the fruit flies in. However, it is TINY. I will be upgrading to a larger tank shortly.

Spiffy little enclosure. Came in perfect condition and looks really nice on the shelf.
