Greater than one weekSo, I love this type and style of screen lid for reptiles housed in fish tanks. The hinged middle allows one side to stay clipped to the tank (!!always use tank clips to keep potential escapees in their homes!!), while also allowing you generous access to the tank. The asterisk by the headline is because not all reptiles do well in glass fish tanks. Some need acrylic tanks to keep in heat and humidity. In some of those cases, simply affixing a piece of plexiglass across one side of the lid can help increase the heat and humidity kept inside the tank. (This is assuming you are using either an under tank heater and/or heat lamp above the tank; the way I do it, the heat lamp goes on the side without the plexiglas.) In any case, if you need a screen lid for your tank, this is a great one.

Greater than one weekNice product idea that works great for easy access to the tank without having to move the heat lamp/light. Just be cautious of climbing animals...my frogs climbed up and tried to squeeze out by the hinges.

> 3 dayBought this for my bearded dragons temporary housing unit. Works like a charm, nice n sturdy, seems durable. Theres room for a fan and lamp on one side and on the other i have room to scoop up Griffin. Oh and I bought this thinking it would arrive in weeks. Nope! It arrived a day later (mine was also wrapped in walmart packaging....interesting...)

Greater than one weekThis lid is just what we needed. Our cat likes to sit on top of the tortoise tank and watch. She had torn through the soft screen lid that came with the tank. This lid fit right over the top, even with a little extra room needed due to the rim used for the previous lid. It is plenty strong to support the cat for hours. The hinged lid makes it so easy to get into the aquarium to get the tortoise or give it fresh water or food.

> 3 dayI love this screen lid, it is such a game changer being able to access the tank without picking up the whole lid. I have my lights taped to the screen because we have cats that like to knock things over, but before I taped them down it was SUCH a pain having to try to balance the lamps on the lid to feed my gecko, change the water, spot clean, or mist their humid hide. This lid is so worth it and I strongly encourage you to get one if youre thinking about it. It is strong enough to withstand a cat jumping on it, as much as I hate that they do that. All that being said, mine came with a little dent on the side but Im able to look past that. I just made that part face the wall and now it looks fine. Great product I highly recommend it

> 3 dayAbout a quarter-half inch too big for my 20L (30x12x12), it still fits nicely. The hinge is very useful since I do not have to remove the entire screen to access the tank. Even the non-hinged filter is about $20 everywhere.

> 3 dayThis lets the water escape more quickly out in the air, but that is to be expected with an open air tank. Replacing the lost water and doing changes twice as often, but works well.

> 3 dayIf you have a rambunctious animal like my snake, you will need to buy tank clips to lock the top down. The middle can easily be pushed up to allow for escape from the center edges, but the clips are inexpensive.
