Nice product idea that works great for easy access to the tank without having to move the heat lamp/light. Just be cautious of climbing animals...my frogs climbed up and tried to squeeze out by the hinges.

I love this screen lid, it is such a game changer being able to access the tank without picking up the whole lid. I have my lights taped to the screen because we have cats that like to knock things over, but before I taped them down it was SUCH a pain having to try to balance the lamps on the lid to feed my gecko, change the water, spot clean, or mist their humid hide. This lid is so worth it and I strongly encourage you to get one if youre thinking about it. It is strong enough to withstand a cat jumping on it, as much as I hate that they do that. All that being said, mine came with a little dent on the side but Im able to look past that. I just made that part face the wall and now it looks fine. Great product I highly recommend it

Great fit. Perfect for my 20 gal long tank. Makes feeding my turtle much easier. I can just flip one side up and not have to remove the whole lid.

the measurements even from the manufacturers site (and a phone call to them) confirm that its the -glass- measurement, not _with_ the top frame.... Mine is a 35 gallon, a tall tank version & I wasnt sure that itd fit. Frame (plastic rim around the top) was 12-1/2 = 31.7cm deep by 30-1/4 long(front width) = 76.5cm and this is a good fit with a smidge of wiggle, but I can still get those secure all metal clips on top as well. (takes the smalls same as any 12deep x 30 front width inch tank. hope thats useful or assuring to others.
