These handles are pretty good but the flat side was bent/warped and made it difficult to install. I ended up enlarging the holes through my (solid core) door in order to get the bolts started and then I tightened everything so the bend was flattened. Once installed theres no way to know.

Amazon’s price was much lower than other retailers online, i.e. Home Depot. It’s a quality Handel with hardware. Be sure you drill your holes straight through the door or you’ll have trouble lining up the screws. We’re very happy with our new barn door!

Custom built a barn door for the entry to the bathroom and wanted a handle big enough and sturdy enough to handle the door. Was a little worried about the back plate but fit in nicely and I was overthinking it too much. Very easy to install and wish I had more options for barn doors in the house as I would use this product again and again.

Arrived quickly, and really is perfect for our Master Bedroom sliding barn door. Strong and comfotable, works great!! Easy to install, just set it where you want it to go, drill the holes, scew in the screws, and you have a nice handle!!!!! FYI the screw hole on one end was not perfectly tapped, so some force was required the tighten the bolt. Also the template to drill the holes was off be about 3/8 inch, so measure the actual handle holes instead!!!! 4 out of 5 stars due the issues noted....

Screws that came with this are VERY long. I happen to have a pretty thin barn door so I had to cut my screw in order for it to fit.

I really like this barn door handle - works great on both sides and very easy to install!
