Bolts are the wrong size for the handle. The bolts have the wrong pitch and dont thread into the handle at all. A few other reviews mention this. Im not sure if its just random ones not being machined properly... I ordered a replacement and will update my review if that one works properly! *Update* Second handle ordered as a replacement is totally fine. Looks amazing, easy to install, and the screws align perfectly. Id say theres definitely a risk in getting a badly machined set, but Amazon makes it so easy and painless to replace that it makes this far worth it !

I am using this to pull down my garage door. The old handle fell off. My garage door was a little tricky with some hinges that got in the way, and about an inch thick. Two separate sets of bolts are included for length purposes, and they worked well. I have it mounted horizontally, and have had it installed almost 2 months now. I go in that garage a few times a day, and use that handle to pull up the door, and at the end as I am closing it. There is a decent amount of resistance/weight on my door, and the handle is holding up great. Good, solid construction.

Purchased two of these and both had the same annoying problems! One of the two holes that accepts the screws is too shallow by one to two turns of the screw so I couldn’t snug the pull to the door. The local hardware stores didn’t carry a black screw that would work. Finally solved the issue by adding a very thin washer between the pull and the decorative round piece (see photo) at one end. Also the back plate had a slight warp on both units. I recommend looking for another product unless you enjoy a 10 minute install turning in to hours and two trips the the hardware store. These are sturdy and look good. My antique storm door used as a barn door in the basement looks great but not the simple job I’d hoped! Photos show the slight added washer, slight warp of the back plate and the finished door.

Set meaning front and back not 2 of them . These are so beautiful ! Have gotten so many compliments .

This set is just the right size and very forgiving and easy to install. I highly recommend if yum are putting in a barn door you take a look and get this one! I could not be happier with it.
