For those that just use your joycon sideways, these are a nice alternative. They make it more ergonomic and a more realistic game controller feel. They are not as comfortable as a full size replacement controller, but they are a great upgrade for the price.

I saw these controller shells somewhat recently, and, seeing how I have big hands, and found playing with the separate joy-con somewhat...cumbersome, because it felt a bit small, and cramped, I wanted to buy these to play Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with my brother. And DANG if these didnt make it more enjoyable! The shoulder buttons are a tad squishy, but theyre very easy to press, and holding them down keeps the proper button held down as well, unlike with the joy-con straps I had gotten with my Switch. I admit that a bit more polish in terms of appearance would be nice, since there arent any light displays on the shell to show which controller is which player, but, in terms of build, these are solid enough. Theyre a bit hollow, and light, but once the joy con is inside, they feel completely natural! I fully recommend these, especially if you share your joy-con with friends for multiplayer games!

By far one of my best Nintendo Switch purchases. They fit the joycons well and make games like smash ultimate and mario kart a million times more comfortable for me and my friends.

So much better than the included straps. They quickly pop on and off the controllers. The plastic is the high-quality rubbery plastic so its not slick and stays in your hand and has a very good feel to it.

I love these Joy con grips. The make using the controllers much more comfortable and Ive never gotten hand fatigue from using them.

I had tried playing MarioKart on my new Switch with just the individual joy-cons, and it was an ergonomic disaster. I knew I wouldnt be able to get my wife to play with me if it was actually painful to do so, so I ordered these and kept my expectations low. The experience was night and day: no cramps! No sore hands! I have already sent the link to multiple friends with Switches and will continue to recommend them.

These simple grips make it hundreds of times easier to use the switch controls. Im thinking of ordering a second set since I own 4 controllers.

Best bang for the buck. So much better than using the single control alone. Nice that it comes with joy stick covers.
