I paid $150 for a “razor” my husband could use for a long time and sharpen on a leather strap. I got a fancy handle. A fancy handle should not cost $150. Even if it’s nice wood and steel. The description said razor. Not razor handle. The thing didn’t even have razors with it! And they’re expensive. If you’re looking to overpay for a handle this is the product for you.

Very difficult for beginners, and has little flexibility to control. Its toughness and quality are high.

New to straight-style razors - the shavette style replaceable blades very convenient - excellent quality engineering - easy to clean - numerous videos show technique for those new to straight-style razors - great one-pass shave, more experienced users can get even better results.

This thing cuts through hair like butter! No drag, just a clean cut! Totally stoked to use this to cut some shags and curtain bangs on my clients! If youre a hairdresser, this is a must. How is it with lining a beard though? I have no clue lol

I bought this razor amongst five others straight razors to swith to straight razor shaving. While not the most expensive, this is the best one for several reasons: 1. I have a large hands and the longer stem on the other side of the blade allows me to hold it correctly with two fingers, allowing for greater control 2. The longer blade shaves larger surface area 3. The holder and blade allows for a great angle that cuts well, easily (without too much experience), and smoothly 4. The switching of blades is easy and painless I dont really have any negatives other than it is kind of expensive for a shavette style razor, but i dont regret it and would buy it again.

Years ago, this razor caught my eye, how could it not be made by ( feather)!! But I used to go to the classic razors (despite the tiring of maintaining them) and sometimes the results were bad!!! Finally I decided to get one and indeed the results were beyond expectation, amazing, and I got a clean and smooth shave as it should be. Unfortunately I was late to getting it!!

The best shave every time. Quality built. Nice heft. Shaves like an actual straight razor, only better. Also, no need to strop.

This is really an amazing razor ! First of all, it is obviously incredibly sharp and efficient. Assuming you are using the right shaving cream/gel/... , it leaves you with a baby skin, soft and supple. It is extremely light and easy to manipulate; the wooden handle is lighter than the blade part and it feels perfectly balanced. I can now confirm that, in truth, a straight razor is by far superior to anything else you could use. I researched a lot to make my mind on which one to use, this one came at the top and I am not disappointed. Things went well from the first time I shaved, I did not cut myself. But make no mistake, as much as I wasnt particularly worried, once I had this thing in my hand I felt differently. I am not easily impressed but this is one very scary instrument of death for sure. You better be in the moment and pay attention to what you are doing :) The slightest wrong move can quickly end badly. I do not have experience with other razors, but with the shaving cream I was using and this particular razor I felt that there was some margin for error though. Normally you should shave at an angle of 30 degrees from what I understand, but it was fine when I did a bit less or a bit more. I am wearing glasses and I dont see anything without them, so sometimes I wasnt really holding the razor perfectly and I was trying to figure how to handle it best, but things just went fine. As long as you are careful, in the moment and focused, make short strokes and apply minimal pressure with just a finger, youll be fine and the shave will be amazing. Looking forward to become a pro with this thing !
