What a life saver, a little pricey but worth not having to replace the entire fixture

I bought a cheaper component from a different mfg at the local big box hardware. It was made of a different plastic, about half the price. Well, it failed dramatically about 3 weeks later, cracking into pieces inside the valve. Luckily I was home at the time and could shut the water off. This part may seem expensive but the plastic is engineered to take the load, lasts years.

This arrived promptly! Very well made — American made!

Came with grease to seal the gasket and was very easy to install.

Took maybe 5 minutes to install. Works as designed.
