Febco Bonnet and Poppet Assembly Kit 905212 for 1 inch and 1-1/4 inch Febco 765 Valves

OEM product, easy to install, fit perfectly, no leaks. Gave three stars due to the mark up in price after the hard freeze down in Texas in 2021. Paid $20 more than normal because this item was all sold out locally. Way to take advantage of a situation.

Used cheaper knockoff; it leaked within two weeks. Replaced with OEM part and no issues.

I bought a cheaper component from a different mfg at the local big box hardware. It was made of a different plastic, about half the price. Well, it failed dramatically about 3 weeks later, cracking into pieces inside the valve. Luckily I was home at the time and could shut the water off. This part may seem expensive but the plastic is engineered to take the load, lasts years.
