I bought a couple of these at Costco as a package deal with some extension cords. They worked great (once I got them connected to the WiFi) and I had a need for more, so I bought two more from Amazon. Between the time I bought the new ones and their arrival, the old ones started to malfunction. They would go offline and not turn on/off according to the set schedule. Then one of them completely stopped working. The new ones were just as difficult to get working. One of those stopped working within a week or so of getting them also. When they ARE doing what they’re supposed to do, they do a great job. But for unknown reasons, they disconnect from my wifi and then have to be reinstalled. This happens often and it’s a PITA to get them to connect. It takes a good 5-10 minutes per attempt while sitting outside in the cold, multiple attempts later, they may connect. I would have gone another way if I realized the hassle they were going to be.

I tried using a Feit indoor Smart WiFi Plug in an area that is slightly shielded from my home WiFi and it would barely stay connected (and its an indoor area). I switched to the Feit Electric Smart Outdoor Plug and it stays connected just fine - great signal strength. Apparently the WiFi chip / design in the outdoor plug provides much better range. Who would have thought???

I am absolutely blown away at how great this product is. Sets up instantly, the range on this is incredible, and I found that one of the six devices I purchased and set up was literally encased in ice outside controlling my Christmas lights and not once did I lose signal. They are super responsive, super durable, and probably one of the best made products I’ve ever seen. I would highly recommend this product

Description reads as you can control two devices with one plug, but the settings are shared. I have water features that should turn on before my outdoor lights. However, Im not able to set different timers for each different devices. Sadness.

We use these for Halloween and Christmas, and have one in the backyard for our fence lighting. Its so easy to tell Alexa to turn things on and off, or set a timer with the app.

I bought this to control the inflatables that we put up for the holidays and it works great. There is a schedule function so I can set when the switch turns on and off. It was a breeze to set up with my wi-fi using their app. I bought a 2-pack at Costco last week for $20 to use for the Christmas tree and lights around our back porch.

Im a big fan of decorations for Halloween and christmas. For many years I have used the photo sent all timers to try to coordinate when my lights and decorations would turn on. They would never turn on at the same time because the shadows would hit them a few minutes apart. With these, they are extremely easy to use. You connect them to the app on your phone or tablet and set a timer. You can also do multiple timers. They will come on when they are scheduled and turn off when you schedule them. I have used them for the Christmas season and so far I have had no issues whatsoever. They are really simple to set up. In order to set them up though, you have to download the app and then run it really close to the device until it picks it up. Once it has picked it up you set your schedule you plug your items in and you are good to go.

Used this with my Christmas lights this year. Worked great and was easy to interface with Google Assistant. I used the Feit app to set up a schedule for turning the lights on and off. Only one time did I receive an error message from the app and the lights werent turned off. Be nice to have a dusk/dawn option when setting up the schedule... might be able to do this with Google Assistant now.

The cable that plugs into the outlet was very stiff, so there was no way to manipulate it in my covered outlet box that it didn’t over the other outlet, rendering it unusable. I wanted to use this on my covered balcony for some Edison lights I have wrapped around the rails. I didn’t have difficulty setting it up in my app (all my indoor lights are Feit as well), but it stopped working less than a week after install. I couldn’t believe it. I pressed the box reset multiple times, tested my string lights directly in the same outlet, brought the smart cord inside to test it in a different outlet—nothing. RETURNED.

Setup and Integrates easily with Google home. No more looking for the remote to turn on my deck light. Either use my cell phone or voice to turn on and off. Didnt rate for Alexa because I dont use it, but Im sure it will work fine with that also.
