> 3 dayWhat a fantastic find! The Fellowes Thermal Laminating Pouches are a perfect way to protect important documents, photos or other precious memorabilia. Compared to other brands the Fellowes laminate is superior. The cost, delivery speed, sturdiness and jam free product provides an amazingly clear image that is well protected especially against fading, yellowing and moisture. Ive tried other marketed laminates, but have found none comes close to the Fellowes brand. I make greeting cards with removable laminated photos that actually can be placed in a frame. No glass needed as the laminate is that sturdy and clear. The images come out sharper and more vibrant than printing to plain stock paper. My clients love the finished look. I also laminate my four leaf clovers I find. They dont fade, turn yellow or change the look of the clovers even after a few years just a beautiful clear image. Ive been using this product for about three years and am very pleased with it. I highly recommend and trust this product to use on important documents and memories for clarity and protection.

24-11-2024This is my first time using Fellowes hot laminating pouches but find they work just fine. When I need to preserve documents or making menu cards that need to last I laminate them. They seal up on the first pass most of the time and are water clear. This is the standard 7x11 size (3 mil), 100 count, that can be cut to fit your needs. With many brands to chose from I like to stick with brands that Ive had the best luck with, they arent cheap so dont waste your money on cheap thin no name brands unless you dont care about having it last or resist failure.

Greater than one weekI did a side-by-side comparison of these pouches against some Scotch 3mil pouches on both Scotch and Fellows branded laminating machines. These Fellowes pouches did impress me as being a little better quality than the Scotch pouches and the end result was slightly thicker and a tiny bit more firm feeling to me. This was true for both of the machines I tested. Ive used heavy card stock in these pouches with no issues. The only time I see any waviness is in a half empty pouch. (The instructions do warn you not to run half empty pouches through the machine.) I experienced no color or visibility distortion. I also didnt have any issues with air bubbles as the 2 sides of each pouch are attracted to each other statically, which helps keep excess air out.

> 3 dayCompared to 3Ms 3 mil laminating pouches, the Fellowes pouches feel stiffer. I actually prefer the 3M because I expect 3 mil to give me a bit of flexibility. Others who have tested both prefer the Fellowes. Obviously this is a matter of personal preference. The Fellowes pouches did do a good job sealing on a single pass through a budget laminator.
