06-06-2025Ive been using Fellows 3 mm laminating pouches for years, the better of all hot laminating pouches because they dont fog up after having been run through the machine. I prefer them more than the Staples brand of pouches but had only bought them at Staples. This price has Staples beat, the largest pack they carry is 150 count for $50. I got 2 one hundred count packs for virtually the same price.

> 3 dayI really dont have presentation needs or whatnot for these pouches. To be perfectly honest, my Fellows Cosmic 125 kind of just stands compactly out of the way most of the time, to the point where Im thinking, Why do I have a laminator again? --- and then I need it, again. A few days ago I laminated a bread machine baking chart for a quick cheat sheet so I dont have to reference the manual again and again, also a proof of insurance for my wallet, since the paper printout from the website had gotten tattered. Yes, 3 mil is very thin, but it is also surprisingly sturdy over time. If the material I am laminating is flat, and if I am careful to use a carrier sheet when using one pouch for multiple small items, I see zero bubbling or other marring. (Just be sure to have enough margin around EACH item to cut up without separating the lamination layers. Idiotically, I kept making the same mistake early on of cutting *through* the laminated papers rather than trimming before laminating. Dont do that. You can get cheaper per-sheet, but Ive seen cheaper per-sheet in my kids classrooms in the past. Okay but often a little less bubble-free or a little more prone to separation. Oh, and a PSA: Remember to clean your rollers! - no brand of laminating sheets can compensate for dirty rollers in a laminator, and how hard is it to run through a cleaning sheet?

> 3 dayThe Fellowes brand was a little better than the Staples brand in that the there were little waves in the Staples brand after lamination that were not present in the Fellowes laminations. These are the only two brands of pouches I have tried. I was using the Fellowes Saturn 125 laminator.

Greater than one weekreally do well for the badge we are required to make. hold up well to all the abuse of the day, too.
