> 3 dayThe soap smells much better than the Kiwi brand saddle soap, kinda of a lemony scent to it. The tub arrived packaged in a sealed baggie in case of any spillage, which was thoughtful of the seller. It is fresh and not a dried out hockey puck as others have described. It worked great on two of my leather shoes, a 17 year old pair of Dr. Marten shoes and a pair of Timberland boots. The Dr. Martens cleaned up nicely, but kept their nice worn patina which I like. Same with the boots. The next day I applied a coat of mink oil and buffed them up. They have darkened up but it doesnt matter to me. They are now looking great, protected from the elements and ready for many more years of wear! Heres a very helpful tip for those of you who appreciate good shoes and hate to throw them out for simple issues such as the sole peeling off or trim coming off. DO NOT use Shoe Goo! It makes a mess and doesnt work as well as this, Boot Fix Shoe Glue, https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00Q3IDN5M/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Its more than just super glue, its formulated by cobblers and it works! Use it sparingly as it will make a mess as super glue does. It bonds in seconds and will last a very long time if kept in the fridge! If you love your shoes, it will change your life!
