> 24 hourI have been playing FIFA since FIFA 95. Since FIFA 10, this game has been getting better and better. FIFA 13 is the best entry in the series yet, but I have to take a star away for failing to fix some major flaws that have been present in the last few games. 1) Connection issues: one of the most frustrating things of all time. I have played this game on many different internet connections, and had issues everywhere. I routinely get stuck in the arena, and only going back to the dashboard allows you to escape (or signing out of Live, but then the game crashes when I sign back in...). The EA servers are down way too often. Its also pretty common to get matched up against someone, and then the game loses connection and you have to search again. Seriously EA, this is not rocket science. 2) Cluster situations: way too often, there will be an absurd chain of events that leads to a cheap goal. This can be anything from players falling over each other to the ball magically getting through several defenders. Look up some videos on YouTube, and you will see how it can be extremely irritating. Myself and my roommate have been close to smashing the Xbox in rage. 3) Goalkeeper charging: rarely works to the players advantage. The goalkeeper will often completely miss the player with the ball, leading to a goal. If the player with the ball changes direction even slightly, then suddenly the goalkeeper becomes lost & clueless. It drives me insane. Also, if the goalkeeper is charging, the attacker just needs to use the finesse shot; for whatever reason, it works every time. 4) Goals from corners/crosses: HAPPEN TOO OFTEN. Probably 30% of corners result in a headed goal that is impossible to defend. Its ridiculous. It rewards people for taking shots from stupid angles just because they know it will result in a corner. Those are all the negatives I can think of. This is generally a very fun game with a very high skill cap. The positives are obvious and frequently mentioned in other reviews, so I wont mention them. But if youre looking for a good sports game or a good competitive game, this is awesome.

> 24 hourThe most complete game of football ever. You can play it for months and still not get bored. EA sports improve a lot of aspects of The game in comparation with previous years

> 24 hourMaybe it is just me - but FIFA games are FIFA games. Although they all have minor play differences, you know what you are going to get with a FIFA game. Im mildly upset that Japan and Ghana arent playable teams, but hey, you get what you get. I still like the game.

> 24 hourAnother top quality delivery from the FIFA developers. Though it has a very similar feel to FIFA 12 there are a few twists that make the game even more realistic. The first touch control system is a bit annoying, but once you get used to it, its makes the game much more believable. Another cool feature is ultimate team. I really enjoy the FIFA series and I think this one is a step forward. In conclusion, if you have FIFA 12, its not an esencial update. If youre running on 11 or older or are new the series, its a must have, for sure!
