11-04-2025After receiving the filters in the mail, I was pleased to see the shipping was fast, well packaged (it came in a huge box which I am sure to find other purposes for), and accurate. The filters slipped right into the intakes on my first and second floors (as advertised). While I do not suffer from allergies, I have noticed that my toddler son hasnt been draining from his nose as much. Hes been struggling with congestion since the early spring and these seem to help while hes indoors. So far, I am well pleased with the filters. And Ill probably order again.

> 3 dayChanging filters every 3 months really cuts down on cooling time and when you see how much it really does filter out of the air it makes you wanna change them frequently.

Greater than one weekWhen I received the filters they were both so badly bent, one of them wasn’t even able to be used in the air conditioner. I tried to bend it back to put it in place but it was bent and torn on the edges too much. Very disappointing.

> 3 dayThese filters feel different than the filtrete MPR 1000 filters I buy at Walmart. They feel more flimsy and the printing looks different. They collapse inward when the HVAC is running and gaps open up around the edges of the filter causing air to go around it. There was dust caked up in the gaps around filter when I removed it (filter in photos is brand new however so everything was cleaned) which never happened with the store bought filters. Not sure if these are genuine or knockoffs.

> 3 dayIve used Filtrate brand air filters in my home for well over five years. As they are good filters, it is not worth the extra money to get the fancier more expensive ones. I have pets and I am allergic to them. I love my fur babies but these filters need to be change a least every 3 months. I would hope with purchasing the pet ones, I would get at least 4 months. This is not the case. No matter how much money I spend on these Filtrate filters, I always have to change mine every two months. These filters (MPR 1000) are good. They are nothing special. I am not sure I would say worth the money, but they are good and we NEED filters. Filtrate is a solid brand. Their filters always come in good condition. They do not tear or fall apart. This is why I gave them four stars. They are a good product when it comes to materials and such. I took away a star because I just believe they should last at least three solid months as advertised. They advertise taking several types of allergens out of the air, but I just do not feel it takes many out at all. I should not be suffering from allergy issues in my home with these brand new filters in my home being changed every two months.
