Filtrete 20x25x1 Air Filter MPR 1000 MERV 11, Allergen Defense, 2-Pack (exact dimensions 19.688x24.688x0.84)

These work ok for our ac, but in research I found the MPR 1900 will filter 0.3 microns, the same spec as the N95! Also made by 3M. A coincidence? Lowes carry this filter. I purchased a 16x 30 and the 16 unfolded to 80. If you make a standard 9x9 curt you can make the masks quickly. 10 minutes pr so. Be sure to install a 5 soft wire for the nose bridge. These can be made on a sewing machine and/or a glue gun or both. We made a bunch and gave them away. Our church is making them.

Arrived quickly, good product & value.

As a renter I don’t need to purchase 6 or 12 filters at one time, and unfortunately bulk prices are much less per filter. After much research I found MERV 11 per filter prices as low as $6 each but the catch is you have to buy 6 or 12 or sign up for an auto delivery service. I choose this product because it’s the lowest per filter cost as a 2 pack. As per Amazon’s usual speediness the package arrived on time. I opted for Amazon packaging at checkout and the filters arrived in tact with no compromises to manufacturers packaging. The filter is extremely easy to install and unlike other bulk manufacturers, the frame is very well made, very sturdy. I have 3 cats, a dog, in addition to myself (I occasionally smoke marijuana in the home) & my adult daughter so the MERV 11 rating was essential. After removing the 3 months old filter (MERV 5), within an hour the air conditioner was running cooler, more efficiently, and my automatic air purifier which has been on continuously for several days, is idle. So far so good.

One less trip to the big hardware store. I was concerned they would come in damaged being so large and made of cardboard but they arrived in perfect condition.
