Finish Dual Action Dishwasher Cleaner: Fight Grease & Limescale, Fresh, 8.45oz

Have a 3 yr old Kitchen-Aid Dish washer(2019). Since installation Ive not done anything but a Sani-Rinse a few times. Always checked the Filter Canister ea month and the Screen every other. Have had no issues until the fall of 2022. Found that the Filter Canister had a Cinnamon colored gunk all over it after EVERY washing! I kept cleaning, only to see same Gunk as well as an Odor remaining after wash. Dishes and whatnot did NOT have an Odor, the machine did. 140°F Sani-washing changed nothing. So, some research, reviews and gave this a go. HOME RUN! After the FIRST use, No more Gunk, or Odor! Wash after Wash, Filter is okay, No Odor! Turns out the EPA yrs ago disallowed the use of any Phosphates in Dishwasher detergents. The Phosphates would keep the Mach. clean throughout. Its the water pathways that you CANT see/get to, thats causing the Odor. So, it turns out that the right quantity of Citric Acid does the Trick! Be sure to read the directions! You MUST remove the plastic peel from the Cap, leaving the Cap alone! Place cleaner upside down on the BOTTOM rack! Then, with machine empty, run the High Temp.(140°F), Sani-Rinse cycle,(mine took 3hrs). Abracadabra! No more Odor! Am placing on Amazon Auto Del. Will use once/mo. at $4 , its so worth it.

I bought this dishwasher cleaner because it seemed like a relatively easy product to use and I was correct. I also like that the packaging is recyclable. You just have to make sure that you have the ability to set your dishwasher to a very hot setting in order for it to work its magic. I cant say that it is super effective at tackling hard water (lime scale) YET but Ive used it twice on a relatively old dishwasher that I have to assume never had any sort of cleaning process done to it. There is still some scale on the nozzles that spray water around the machine but it definitely has made an improvement in the overall smells that come from the dishwasher so far. I have to warn though that the scent of this product is kinda strong in terms of chemical but it dissipates after a few uses of the machine after you use the product. After using twice so far though (once a month) Im pleased with the results so far.

Just buy it. It’s amazing. Makes my dish washer smell like the day we got it. 10/10

The boyfriend bought a house and everything in it was disgusting right down to the dishwasher. He had no idea these products existed so I bought this to use in September 2022 with hopes it would help our dishes be cleaner... Oh the difference it has made! Its now March 2023 and the dishwasher still looks as clean as the day we first used this product! I just bought another bottle and will probably run it through just because, but it honestly doesnt seem to need it. This was super easy to use and definitely does the job!

Ive used these to clean up my dishwasher in the past. We moved into a new house and the dishwasher looked disgusting with a ton of hard water and calcium build up. We ordered a new dishwasher to replace what appeared to be a dirty machine. I ran a dual washer dishwasher cleaner through the machine to see what would happen and the dishwasher was sparkling afterward. We cancelled the order for new one immediately. This cleaning works great! I continue to use them on my dishwasher once a month to clean up any water spots, calcium buildup, and freshen up the smell.

It works great and the ingredients aren’t scary. The fragrance is a little strong but I can deal. (I buy unscented everything.) I’ve got a 20+ year old dishwasher in my apartment and it requires one of these every couple months. Absolutely recommend!

Easy and simple to use to clean out your dishwasher of buildup and smells

I was somewhat skeptical on whether I’d notice any difference. Crazy thing is, after using this my dishwasher was easier to pull out the “drawers.” So the cleaning aid somewhat degreased the sliders so that now it is easier to pull in & out.

Does a great job of removing hard water stains & making my dishwasher look like new again. They are super easy to use and dont have a strong off-putting scent like other dishwasher cleaners tend to have.
